And being 100% honest. What is happening in the Middle East and the related mess that is our Mexico border, hate to say it but trump is going to gain from this. Although I’m still holding out hope that a unifying GOP candidate will step forward.

I'm not sure a poll can be delusional, but they can be meaningless small sample sizes. Take a poll about this in Squirell hill, and then take another one in Connellsville, and you will see how you can get a small poll to say whatever you want. Trump lost the two biggest polls that dwarf all of the other polls. The 2016 and 2020 popular votes.

But that's not how polling works.

You take a state-wide poll if you want to estimate how PA voters are trending. You take a national poll if you want to gauge how voters are trending nation-wide.

Either way, as long as the poll sample is a random selection of 800-1000 eligible voters, the results are likely to be an accurate reflection of how voters would be disposed to vote if an election was held today.

No pollster would limit their sampling to voters in Squirrel Hill or Connellsville, unless perhaps they were trying to predict the next Mayor(s) of those cities.
