Per an August 2019 article in Politico:
The day the Bidens took over Paradigm Global Advisors was a memorable one.
In the late summer of 2006 Joe Biden’s son Hunter and Joe’s younger brother, James, purchased the firm. On their first day on the job, they showed up with Joe’s other son, Beau, and two large men and ordered the hedge fund’s chief of compliance to fire its president, according to a Paradigm executive who was present.
After the firing, the two large men escorted the fund’s president out of the firm’s midtown Manhattan office, and James Biden laid out his vision for the fund’s future. “Don’t worry about investors,” he said, according to the executive, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, citing fear of retaliation. “We've got people all around the world who want to invest in Joe Biden.”
At the time, the senator was just months away from both assuming the chairmanship of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and launching his second presidential bid. According to the executive, James Biden made it clear he viewed the fund as a way to take money from rich foreigners who could not legally give money to his older brother or his campaign account. “We've got investors lined up in a line of 747s filled with cash ready to invest in this company,” the executive remembers James Biden saying.Biden refers to himself as “Middle-Class Joe,” and presents himself as a corrective to a system rigged by financiers and networked corporate elites.
At this, the executive recalled, Beau Biden, who was then running for attorney general of Delaware, turned bright red. He told his uncle, “This can never leave this room, and if you ever say it again, I will have nothing to do with this.”
and of course john Kerry's son and hunter biden's firm received a 130 million dollar loan from the u.s. government

Bingo! You get it. Why don't the libtards? Their hypocrisy and lack of self-awareness is jaw-dropping and appalling to me.
Our politics were already in a downward spiral well before Trump entered the picture. And the dim-retards have led this race to the bottom. I knew after the two candidates were nominated that the 2016 campaign would take us to a new nadir. Not only because there are no standards anymore (other than whatever moves the needle in our favor is ok) but also because the dim-retards had never come to terms with the Clinton sex scandals and trumpy was not someone to hold back when attacked. I was right - the mud slinging was worse than anyone could've imagined. Three years later we're still trying to wipe off all the mud, which has soiled everything in our public polity.
Funny how that 11-year-old "grab em by the pussy" video surfaced just 3 weeks before Election Day. What did trump do in response? He invited 4 Clinton sexual assault victims to the next debate, trotted them out for a news conference and then sat them in the front row lol!

the anti-trumpers don't need this to sway them. butt .. the Trump base is galvanized by it .. the undecided aren't buying this bullshit. why? NO EVIDENCE! they aren't buying it. the Demontards are actually pushing undecided voters toward Trump's camp.

You catch on quick. Entering your notes in blue inside WTF's post.
How much control should the ex-Vice President have over the lives of his adult children? Does he have to answer for everything his children do as adults?

I think you mean attempted bribery don't you since no speech was given saying an investigation would take place and the aide was given without the quo.
Here's a little fun fact. The current definition of bribery was not on the books when bribery was written into the Constitution as one of the conditions for impeachment. Back then, the founding fathers definition of bribery was an official, President in this case "accepting" a bribe in furtherance of doing something against the national interest for the briber. So what exactly did Trump accept as a bribe that furthered the interest of Ukraine against the national security of the US?
But hey, I say to Dem's, take your best shot at proving bribery in a Senate trial.

Forgive the elementary English teacher edit. It took me re-reading that sentence to get what you meant.
But hey, I say to Dem's, take your best shot at proving bribery in a Senate trial.

Yes. You're right. Attempted bribery. In the words of the incomparable Adam Schiff- "They got caught."
The POTUS was not the one being bribed. Obviously. He's being charged with; of course I don't know what articles of impeachment will be handed down, "asking" (demanding) Zelensky to make a public statement that his country investigate Burisma. In exchange for aide already appropriated for his effort to fight Russian incursion. As a favor though.
This way the POTUS can use that as a campaign slogan. Purely selfish reasons. Despicable.
