People don’t necessarily for FOR a candidate as they vote AGAINST him/her. I’d vote for a bag of hammers before I’d vote for Trump....just the opposite of what Trumpers did in 2016 because they couldn’t stand Hillary. A least a bag of hammers isn’t going to be a pathological liar, do nothing embarrassment like Trump.
This election is different, we now know how Trump promotes his bullshit and then barfs all over his chin trying do this job and blames others and him taking no responsibility for his fuckups. He’s proven he can’t do this; people see it.

I'm not voting for Biden, either-- largely because I don't think he's any better than Trump.. and may honestly even be worse. I'm choosing to focus on races that are down-ballot that impact my region moreso than which steaming turd is in the White House.
My issues with the far right are mostly tied in to the unending urge to legislate via religion. If you want me to expand on that.. I will, but it should be self explanatory.
Both sides do spy-- if you think otherwise, you're blind. Hell-- didn't Republicans have a man resign rather than be impeached over his party doing that?
Everything you said about Carter just supports my statement... he was a shit President. Woefully unprepared for the realities of the job... and boosted in by evangelicals that thought for sure that he'd herald in an era of legislating from the pulpit. He's also part of what made Reagan ditch abortion so that he could court the evangelical vote-- once he realized the power of it.
Being a simpleton when it comes to the ways of the world doesn't make him a bad person. It makes him foolish, for certain... but it doesn't change the fact that in his personal life, he's a very decent man. Yep.. everything else you said, I absolutely agree with. He was and is the biggest governmental fuck up of our time.

Elaborate. Outside of the pro-life movement, there really isn't even that much of a religious element to the right. And even the pro-life movement is like... also based on science.

Nixon. RNC. Watergate Hotel. Any of this sounding remotely familiar to you? His re-election committee was literally tied to the 5 people who broke into the DNC headquarters. Several members of his administration went to great lengths to try to cover it up.
Abortion. Prayer in school (mandated-- yes, there are some folk who want this). Gay marriage. The war on drugs. Anti-prostitution laws. Public funds being used for religious based private or charter schools. All of these are based on morality gleaned from Christianity. And in the interest of fairness-- the second to last one on that list is still backed by both parties, just for different reasons. Republicans hate prostitution because of the morality. Democrats hate it because its "anti feminist".
The only issue I don't have a problem with is the stance on abortion. I find the practice reprehensible. However-- as long as it is "legal".. it is also not my business what Sally chooses to do. I volunteer at a pregnancy crisis center to try to talk women out of abortion-- I do my part and beyond that-- until someone finds a way to make it illegal, its foolish to "single issue vote" in that regard... ergo, when I do vote Republican, abortion doesn't factor into my decision.

So, why wasn't Obama and Hillary prosecuted for THEIR spying on the Trump campaign? You're proving my point exactly. A Republican commits a crime, he's forced to resign (justified), but a Democrat commits a crime and nobody outside of a few right wing outlets bother really going after it.
You don't have to be a Christian to be against abortion. You just have to know basic biology. Abortion is killing a baby. If you take out every religion, it doesn't deny this biological fact.

Unless it's a private Christian school, no. And if there are, you're attacking an extreme minority.
But this isn't really a Christian thing only. Marriage laws are just that - LAWS. It has to be passed through the legislature. If the people don't want it, you can't mandate it.
This is more about big pharma. Also, the effect of drugs is far more complicated than your argument comparing it to alcohol.
Dallas is vastly blue (read - not Christian) and it has such laws. The same with large parts of liberal California. So, not really just a religious thing.

Public funds are used for a variety of private institutions, not just schools. Also, if you have a problem with public funds being used to support religious schools, what is your position on your tax dollars funding schools that teach bullshit Marxism and anti-American sentiment?

Gleaned, not legislated from. You seem to think Christianity is the culprit in you not having the laws that you want - no, it's because other people, some of whom aren't Christians at all, also don't want what YOU want.
However, I will admit that America is a nation based on Judeo-Christian values, and as a result, we are a superior nation.

Slavery was also legal in the 1800's, does that make it right? Nope. Jim Crow was legal . Does that make it right? Nope.

I actually think the government should provide proper education and sympathy towards situations in which a woman feels she has to get an abortion. As for making it illegal, I support this. It's not "her body." That's a bullshit leftist argument. That being said, there is a lot to think about and I wish the government and/or local communities support the woman out of getting an abortion.

Y'know.. we agree on abortion-- however, are you aware as to the arguments that made it legal?
Lets say Timmy is a five year old who needs a kidney. Without this kidney-- he will absolutely die. You are the only person on Earth that is a match for Timmy. Even though without it, he would die-- the state cannot mandate you donate a kidney to little Timmy. The extension of that argument was that a woman cannot be required to "donate" her uterus in order to keep an unborn child alive.
Its a bodily autonomy thing. And some feminists will argue that if abortion were made illegal, that the state only legislates what women do with their bodies.. blah blah blah.
Its going to be difficult to impossible to get RvW overturned-- largely due to the bodily autonomy argument. Yes.. I know that an unborn child is a separate person-- however, children that are born are also not given the same protections as adults in the legal system (there are no jury trials in juvenile court, for example).
So-- since logic dictates I would be pissing in the wind to try to change the law.. I choose to try to convince women to go a different path. Been doing it for close to a decade-- you don't have a lot of successes.. but the ones you do have are rewarding.

This is what I love. 5 dudes take it upon themselves to do a little on the side spying. HAVE THE ENTIRE NATIONAL INTELLIGENCE ADMINISTRATION DO IT... FBI, CIA, AND GET BRIEFED ON IT IN THE OVAL OFFICE AND IT'S NO BIG DEAL. WEAPONIZE THE IRS AGAINST POLITICAL OPPOSITION AND IT'S NO BIG DEAL.
My point is if you don't recognize the danger to our Republic and our polity when the govt. is used against political opposition, and you don't think the Obama administration is/was evil incarnate because of that, then you either don't give two fucks about this nation, agree with the policies because you agree with the politics, or are too stupid to be allowed to vote.
This is why we are headed for armed conflict this decade. Too many stupid people that haven't read a history book and don't understand how power accumulates, corrupts, and destroys freedom if people are not ever vigilant.

You only think that because of your adherence to liberal main stream media... who are just democrats with bylines. No mention of historic low unemployment before the chinese fucked us. record low minority unemployment, middle east peace accords. ending the iran deal so they don't get nukes and fuck up the M.E., chinese trade concessions. Covid was gonna kill millions... so Trump has apparently saved millions of lives. WHAT LIES EXACTLY? Because everytime one of you pathetic adherents to international socialism says Trump is lying, I go read the quotes and find they are taken out of context.
If you're full of rage, it's because the liberals want you to be and you're too stupid to think for yourself.

Oh, I've seen every argument for things like Russia, covid, race, and so on out there. As well as variations of said arguments. However, I was wondering what kind of drivel you would post to elaborate on your thoughts.
Turns out, you couldn't even do that! I told you to do one thing, to elaborate. And what did you do? Not a fucking thing.
Repeating one-word talking points from the little man you see on late night comedians isn't an argument.
Fucking learn how to argue.

That was the dumbest analogy.
If that was the argument that pushed RVW, I have even less faith in the SC.
Do you know how babies are made, Grace? I'm genuinely curious. Do you? Because if you did, you'd know why that argument is so inapplicable.
