Every rising market needs a wall of worry. The Royal Bank of Scotland knows no more about the market than anyone else, though as COG correctly pointed out, I love turmoil. The worse things get in the US, the more opportunity for me to pick stocks.

Do any of you know what a "bespoke tranche opportunity" is? There are some tremendous short positions one could take. I agree that the market isn't rational in the short time. Watch The Big Short and say that isn't true.

Thanks for reposting the " economic genius's " post and my response, ExNYer. I wondered a few days ago about how butt hurt woomby will be based on this news about the price of oil . I had forgotten which thread those posts were in ! It couldn't happen to a more pretentious and deserving idiot ! Sounds like a way to sell someone an investment to me....but I'm sure that a custom slice of an opportunity has got to be a great investment, solely because of the branding.
