You mean like when Hillary Clinton called all Trump supporters a "Basket of Deplorables". How did you feel about that statement?

I'm pretty sure most Steelers fans were yelling... BLACK AND YELLOW at their screen, anyhow.
Bambino-- I'd have to google to check, but I don't think Joan is from Ohio-- I think she's a PA girl.

I did not like it one bit. I am certain it cost Clinton many votes. I rolled my eyes when I read that quote.

Biden - " I decide who Be Black"
How does that set with his labelling Trump a "Racist" - ala the NY Times and its editorial crusade to label everything Trump and Republican 'Racist"???
It is all the DPST's have. Fine SR - You hate Trump - vote Biden.
Be careful what YOu ask for - when the Radicals institute Communist dictatorship with matching pics of Uncle Joe and Uncle Joe Stalin required in every room in amerika!

The EU looks at us with penis envy. They'll never have a federal system like ours (assuming the radical left in this country doesn't blow up our 244-year experiment, as they seem hell-bent on doing).
Even the EU's limited Schengen area is already breaking down under the strain of letting in too many unskilled refugees and terrorists from the Middle East and Africa. Look at Greece. Or Italy. Or Hungary. You do know open borders were a big driver behind Brexit, right?
If there is a lesson for us in the EU's failures, it's that we need to tighten our border controls, not loosen them.
|
The point was very simple. Many on this forum are clueless, by their statements, as to what "open borders" means. Your statement about moving from state to state is a perfect example of "open borders". Then your statement about areas in the EU letting in unskilled refugees makes me wonder. That is NOT open borders. That is immigration laws.
I have no problem with tight border controls. That is NOT immigration controls.

My argument is more about millions of illegals crossing with no border controls not thousands of refugees mandated by law.
Anyone with power. Now that's an interesting caveat. My concern is the Democrats getting that power in the next election. If Dem's win the White House, keep the House and get 51 seats in the Senate, their power just might change. Shumer was asked the other day, if the Dems take back the Senate with 51 votes, will they vote for the nuclear option and say all legislation only needs 51 votes to pass. His answer "nothing is off the table".
So the power they have now just might be very different than the power they might have. That's what I'm concerned about.
|
I agree with most of your statements.
I have said before that I don't like the POTUS, House and Senate all controlled by one party. I'd rather see a stalemate than crap legislation passed.
Right now, the odds are Biden wins, Democrats retain control of the House, and Republicans retain control of the Senate. If Democrats happen, against the odds, to regain control of the Senate, one person is to blame - Donald J. Trump.

the dimocrat john c. calhoun is having his statue removed immediately from the capitol building
of course in 1959 a five member committee headed by john f. kennedy named him a top five senator of all time
later in 2000 or was it 2004 two more senators were added to the top to become the top 7 without any squabble
