A country IS NOT a business. A business is a for-profit corporation that has the primary purpose of generating revenue for its owner or shareholders. A country ran like that is a real shithole country where the lower class is skirting poverty while the elite profit to untold ends.


Look at Russia. That is a country ran like a for-profit business.
Oh and look at America... Just picture all the personified companies (because legally, a company is an individual!) as the leaders of the country. Maximize profits, fuck the little guy.


The goal of a country isn't to line the pocketbook of its leaders. It is to create a safe, stable place that people can live, work, thrive, and put money back in to the world. Post office doesn't profit, it is a service, for example.



Saying "I'm going to run the country like it were a business!" is the same thing as saying "I'm going to drive this bus like it were a rolling stock! Only two buttons, go and stop! Where we're going, we don't need to steer"... Nobody would want to ride that bus.


So yeah, Trump ran the country like it was a business. The rich get richer, and thousands died from covid under his watch. He should be arrested for that.

The goal of a country isn't to line the pocketbook of its leaders.

Clearly, the entire Biden family disagrees. They’ve been lining their pockets with foreign and taxpayer cash for half a century.

If Trump should be arrested for Covid deaths, what fate should every other world leader suffer, since the US was somewhere in the middle of the pack re: Covid mortality? Should they all be arrested? Should Biden’s punishment not be more severe, given that there were more deaths under his watch, even when handed multiple vaccines? Inquiring minds want to know.

Actually, everyone got richer under Trump. Your talking point doesn’t hold water. Unfortunately, under the next administration, everyone got and is still getting poorer. Build back better only applies if you’re Ukrainian, an arms manufacturer, or a contractor who will do the rebuilding. All those people struggling to buy food and heat their homes can go fuck themselves, because there’s not been anything built, nothing but millions of indigents pouring into the country and hyperinflation is back, and, most certainly, nothing is better.
