Trolls are after one thing only....to get into the head of those they are trolling, perhaps to get them to violate the guidelines in a reactive reponse post, then alert the mods (if they do not already have them on speed dial) causing points to accumulate or a ban, then hoping to make someone's hobby life so miserable and frustrated that they end up quitting the hobby altogether. I have been trolled for years and by many people. Funny thing about that is most get told what to think and say, very pathetic. Trouble for my haters is, I am still here, still seeing providers and still posting.

Here is how you deal with a troll: Take away the one thing they crave.....your attention.

Pro tip: if you really want people to believe trolls, real and imagined, aren’t bothering you, then don’t go proclaiming how you’re not responding to trolls, not letting them bother you, etc., at seemingly every turn.

Now I haven't gone through and read this whole thread but.... Just my 2 cents but secret recordings from a static random angle suck, who would even want that? The only other use for secret recording would be black mail, and I just don't see a motive in that department.

Here is what looks to be the bottom line of starting this thread: On Eccie, when you have personal haters or just haters of all members in general, you are going to get accusations, rumors, theorized assumptions, conspiracies and of course, trolling thrown at you. Never mind that 99% is totally false and the other 1% is exaggeration of the truth to fit an agenda. On top of that, not only do they not know the person they are talking about, they all say it as fact. Sometimes, it is jealousy, they pick who they think they would give the best reaction they are looking for or they do not like a particular person's opinion and wanting to play oneupmanship games with them. And it does piss them off when the bait is not taken, so they will be more determined and continue their hatred and trolling your posts because that is all they are about.

Not everyone is stupid enough to be told what to think, but on occasion, the haters have situational wins where if they can get even 1 person to believe their bullshit and win twice when they can get that 1 to also spread the lies aka carry their water. Don't be that 1 gullible person who is told what your mindset should be, if you are, well, that says a lot about you. It is the accuser that puts themselves in a position to prove what they say is true. Ask for proven facts before you make an opinion or repeat what others tell you as gospel. For example, when a guy tells you that another guy is a danger to providers, are you going to just believe him or are you going to ask the providers he has actually seen and been with BCD and believe what they say?
