We don't need a lockdown with two god damn vaccines coming out next month. Motherfuck you and your pussy fag boy commie love. Lock yourself up if you want a lockdown and stop acting like a commie faggot.

I don’t want a lockdown. If we have one in my community it will be because the hospitals are overcrowded. And that’s starting to happen. One of the funeral homes brought in a refrigerated trailer to hold the dead bodies. Who’s responsible? People who don’t wear masks, social distance, wash their hands, or stay home when they’re sick. If you’re one of those people who’s responsible for the lockdown, and therefore you want to call yourself a commie fag boy, have at it. I don’t think you are. Although I kind of see the commie part. Because as a taxpayer I’m going to have to dip into my pocket and pay for the bad behavior of people like you, for unemployment benefits and the like that will result from your lockdown

You can't possibly know any of that for certain. You haven't been around the country observing what people are doing.

That's bullshit. You don't know anything about me. I simply said I don't give a shit what other people decide to do, and that gave you the impression that I'm somehow not behaving appropriately.
I don't give a fuck about what someone else decides to do with their lives. If it means contracting COVID and risking death, that's the decision they should have the right to make. If you don't want to contract COVID, then you should hide away and do whatever you need to do. It's not that hard to avoid crowds and wear a fag mask, if that's what you want to do.

Check out these cool transparent masks. It's an N99+, so it protects from COVID. You can continue wearing them for your whole life. I don't care.
I could buy KN95 masks from a gas station close by. They supposedly protect the wearer from COVID. Just wear one of those each day and only go outside to pick up your groceries. That way, you'll get the lockdown you crave while not fucking over everyone else.

I haven't heard about that one. there have been mergers here and there. some couldn't make the distance due to poor market conditions or lousy product and went bankrupt.
Ive not heard of any lawsuits in that sector.

In the 1980’s Piper went bankrupt and Cessna quit manufacturing propeller aircraft because of product liability lawsuits. I’m not sure what happened to Beechcraft but in the back of my mind remember reading that propeller aircraft manufacturing had disappeared from the USA at one time because of lawsuits. I’m not sure though.

The short answer is I don’t know. I read an estimate that 5 to 15 people die annually from the flu vaccine and 140 million are vaccinated in the USA. So I doubled the number of deaths. I posted an article in this thread about research that indicates immunity may be long lasting, if you get the disease or the vaccine, so we shouldn’t need to get vaccinated frequently. As to the number who may die, right now maybe 10% of the population have been infected and 250,000 people have died. So I don’t think it’s unreasonable to guess vaccines may save several hundred thousand lives in the USA.

I respect your opinion on that. Maybe there will be enough information from the clinical trials and from the health care workers who will be vaccinated first so you’ll feel comfortable getting vaccinated fairly early on.
I give Trump a lot of credit for pushing the vaccine manufacturers and the FDA to get this done very fast. I think it will save lots of lives and hope that Biden won’t let off the gas and let the FDA return to its old ways

I believe that my wife received the real COVID-19 vaccine and I probably received the placebo. After the 2nd shot she had a reaction that lasted about 12 hours -- nothing serious. If I did receive the placebo, I will be eligible rather quickly to receive the real vaccine and I will jump on that opportunity.
I too give Trump credit for pushing to get the vaccine out and setting up a distribution system for delivering it.

I’m delighted by this news. But am in no rush to “find” something to praise Trump about to show my bipartisanship.
Trump personally didn’t do shit. He hasn’t even attended a task force briefing in over 5 months and has done almost everything in his power to downplay and deny the dangers of this pandemic.
He should stand trial for the senseless deaths of tens of thousands of Americans who died while he was/is playing golf.
Fuck that guy.

You made a guess based on numbers that are highly skewed and a disease that is politicized in an election year. There is so much conflicting information and lies out there about this disease, I wouldn't go near a vaccine at this point.
