You should probably define "gun free zones"!

I've been in a lot of "gun free zones" in which there were guns!

IB wants to let them in, but he wants to deal with them in a crowd with novices doing the "dealing"!

I want THE EXPERTS/HIGHLY QUALIFIED to have "guns" to stop "guns" from coming into the crowd of novices/want-a-bes. You know?

Like the airport!
Like Government buildings!
Like football and basketball games!
Like concerts!
Like the White House!
Like Congress!
Like jails!
Like prisons!

Probably like his own home!

Snip, snip, snip! Anyone that can afford the price of an AR-15 with 300 to 500 rounds can afford $17.99 to bypass a security screening at an average high school.

Try that "snip, snip" here:

But they can't get into the buildings ..

..... just like they can't get into my house!

And what is an "average" high school? ... Full of "average" teachers and staff? We are moving forward away from "average" .. that was Florida all the way back to Columbine. Your lameass "solution" creates more problems that it solves ... otherwise it would be the "standard" at:

the airport!
Government buildings!
football and basketball games!
concerts!
the White House!
Congress!
jails!
prisons!

You keep making excuses. And that's all they are!

You're fretting about a football field when we SECURE airport tarmacs and runways with a HUGE PERIMETER?

(That thing looks like what I used to use when "cutting" calves!) I guess they make a camo model!

Have you seen a map of that Florida campus? It was a conglomeration of separate buildings -- multiple, separate buildings. There was no single entrance!

You know! If you keep looking in the rear view mirror you are going to run into something ahead of you! Or do you have a "time machine" to rewind the clock?

So what? You're going through all this bullshit so you can wear your "gun" to your teaching job? Or what?

You again are PROVING MY POINT. The Florida school was NOT SECURE!

Ya don't even need walls to secure large areas of development:

The Houston PD with TSA and several other Federal agencies do a pretty damn good job!

But you apparently haven't gotten IB's "point" ...

.. he needs to justify him wearing is "gun" to his teaching job!

He's IT!

He's the FIRST LINE OF DEFENSE for ALL THE STAFF & KIDDIES!

(In his dreams!)

You are not making a cognitive point. Explain why you are bothered that we agree?
The notion that you think our right to bear arms is in any way tied to formal militia with any governing control is simply false
I did not say it was. i merely gave a suggestion that would resolve some of the issues.
Militias actually were initially under the control of the local government prior to 1774. When the Monarch attempted to disarm American militias under local government control, private militias formed. The minute men are one famous example. They fought the first battles of the Revolution.

Think of the first clause as meaning that should a group of people so choose to form a militia....

It is ridiculous, considering the founders recent experience with the stamp crisis that caused the Monarch to attempt disarming the citizens and for that matter, tip the public sentiment to go to war, that the founders would ever tie that right to a government controlled militia.
You seem to be getting of topic quite a bit in my opinion. So it is hard to respond to many of your comments.

I'm saying 2nd just like the 1st should be out of reach from legislation. What he said applies to the 9 ammendments after the 1st as well.

You're the one that claimed that all they needed to do was set up a security check point at THE door oblivious to the fact that there are dozens of doors and no fence!

Do you get weary of being wrong so much? Or do you even realize it?
I noticed you didn't answer my question. And while you may be in the mindset of a caveman. I prefer to use a little higher level of reasoning.By the way,
are you a flat-earther as well?

Link describing the Texas "School Marshall" program. Politico, usually left leaning, uses a lot of language Trump used:

Still like being wrong, do you?

I didn't know you asked me a question that was worth answering.

Normally I would apologize, but you're not "normal"!

I normally do not agree with LL but on this one I do. You on the other hand are simply twisting his words to say whatever you want. He did not say set it up at one entrance and allow others to be unguarded there are schools all over that have been built or modified to do exactly what he is proposing. But you would rather just go with the "guns-O-plenty" method first.
