what the Cowboys must do to win:

(1) create turnovers.. at least a +2 in their column
(2) run the ball effectively.. Murray AND the others
(3) surprise the Eagles with a couple of long pass plays, when they are sitting on the running play

what will probably happen:

(1) the Eagles will stuff the Cowboys' offensive line, anticipating an abundance of running plays... Murray will gain less than 80 yards
(2) the Eagles will blitz like mad men, 4+ sacks, and 2 interceptions.. will create 2 more turnovers than the Cowboys
(3) continue last week's offensive assault, running & passing... 40+ points

prediction:

Philadelphia 42
Dallas 17

No, get a coach with a set of balls who will take charge of selfish hotheads such as Bryant! Get a coach who will not act like he's a fraternity brother to the players on the team! Do agree with the' D', however - the secondary is atrocious!!

I imagine the drama factor is history now that Romo was operated on Friday. It will be of interest if Romo had a fusion or a 'lamy'. If its a fusion, he could very well be gone forever.

the deal is time is now for the cowboys to draft a qb given tony's age even if he plays 3 or 4 more years time to bring a young 2nd chocie to learn like he did

I'm not sure how to correctly spell the procedure, but it is referred by many to be a 'lamy'. I'll try to spell it out, a 'lamindectomy'.

With this procedure the disc tissue, which has bulged out between the vertebrae, is trimmed away.

If the disc is extensively damaged, then a fusion is performed where the remaining disc is removed and a donor bone is inserted where the disc once was.. Then over time the donor bone fuses to the adjacent vertebrae.

This procedure can be used in the neck area also. The symptom there is radiating from the neck down the shoulder to the arm. Ever hit your crazy bone in your elbow? Imagine a pain almost as intense as that and its mostly constant.until the operation is performed.

That's what the fusion done on Payton Manning was. I still hold my breath when he's slammed to the ground. If the damage is up pass C-3, he'll be in Cristopher Reeve territory for the rest of his life.

Now, for what Romo has (or had) many times the bulging disc places painful pressure on the sciatic nerve which goes from the spine, across the buttocks, then down the outside of the thigh and I worse cases, the pain will travel all the way down the calf and sometimes to the foot.

Beside the pain, there will be weakness of the leg that is also affected. To this day my right leg is still weaker than the left.

Fusions take longer to heal as opposed to a lamy.

Hope this helps out.

Fusions never heal it is like welding the bones and all most never works. all most the case of payotn manning is working but might not in the long term. i had some things along that line done to my hip after a accident in a late model race car the only long term way to deal with it is hip replacenmet but you cant eplace a back bone

Thanks, Ramjet = that was very detailed. You should be a doctor instead of a whoremonger (or maybe be both) lol. Anyway, very good description!

Upside... Romo can't choke and blow this game in last 2 minutes

Downside...Sitting out buys him another year to come back and blow 2014 and break hearts in the last two minutes of key games

(Note to devout Romosexuals: yes...I know the cowboys have no defense)

The Cowboys don't need Romo.

Orton is just as good!
