Then maybe you should seek fresh air elsewhere. Far be it for me to offend your delicate olfactory organ.

I really do think about this a lot. I ask all of my clients what has brought them to me and have a blog on my site that is about this. I offer some advice to couples. I feel I have a good bit of insight with all the information I HAVE gathered. I do believe that I save marriages. A wife isn't suppose to deny her husband , sexual desire is a strong urge. I also have felt the pain of betrayal and I AM told that my open honesty about what I do or have done is to be blamed in many if those cases. I also have turned down a man who was engaged and said that his sex life was fine at home. I also turned down a married man who said the same thing. I felt as if they were just being greedy and cold. I worry that I may never have a living commited partner due to karma. In fact it is a huge concern. I don't ever want to hurt anyone. Especially a good devoted wife and mother who didn't do anything to deserve to have her life shattered.

Hey Wakeup, what if the man and woman married in front of a justice of the peace, and never formally committed to fidelity - is it always an implied contract?

What if it wasn't in the vows, and it is never discussed?

I say in such situation it is kosher.

Wait... let me get this straight. You have sex with strangers for money... and you're passing judgment on your clients? Denying them because of whatever they tell you about their personal lives which may or may not be true and is most definitely none of your business?

And a wife can definitely deny her husband. I don't remember ever hearing the words "and fuck your husband whenever he wants" read during the wedding ceremony. I'm not saying she should or shouldn't, I'm just saying she can. And since we're getting all nosey and judgmental, frankly I don't think it is the wife's fault all the damn time. Have you met some men? Selfish, self-centered egotists, some of them. I wouldn't fuck my husband either if he treated me like a life-support system for a vagina and a food delivery service. Some men with a crappy sex life in their marriage are just as much to blame for it as the wife that is withholding or uninterested. IJS.

But that being said, I couldn't care less what goes on in my clients' private lives. It is none of my business.

It's implied in all wedding ceremonies through-out the civilized world.

Trust me on this.

Caroline, that is exactly right. And exactly the point. People and relationships are exceedingly diverse, and to cram them all in the same bucket is absurd.

Trust a random person on the internet? Where have you been for the last... you know, since the internet became a thing.

But legally, you are wrong. In the US for example, there are still a few states that have implied consent on the books—notably Southern states—but the vast majority have long done away with such doctorines. Further, implied consent does not mean that someone can legally ignore expressly being told "no."
