Don’t mince words. Trump is abetting an attack on our country.
When the Senate acquitted President Trump of the high crimes he committed against our country, Republicans and Democrats alike fell back on a convenient fiction: No, Trump has not really placed himself beyond the law and accountability entirely — for he can always be held accountable in the next election.
Republicans adopted this fiction to obscure Trump’s crimes — that his Ukraine shakedown was all about corrupting that same election. Democrats adopted it to diffuse pressure to sustain the investigative war footing that protecting the country demands.
The news that intelligence officials warned House lawmakers that Russia is again trying to sabotage our election for Trump, and that this disclosure angered him, shatters that fiction entirely.
These revelations are already getting shrouded in euphemism. One CNN analysis insists “America” is “blundering” into another crisis of electoral legitimacy, and that the “partisan divide” is hampering the U.S. response to it.
This notion that the country writ large is stumbling helplessly into this crisis, when in fact one party is inviting it in a manner the other simply is not, and its companion idea that “partisanship” will paralyze our response to it, will be ubiquitous.
So let’s not mince words: Trump and his GOP defenders appear to be actively abetting an attack on our country. By contrast, Democrats can be accused only of passivity — a serious abdication, but not remotely comparable to what Trump and his defenders are orchestrating.

In legalese, once Trump was acquitted (thanks for acknowledging what Nancy denies) it means that Trump did not commit those "high crimes" you mentioned. For you to say otherwise is libel. Going back to the big lie? How Nazi of you.

BINGO! Now throw in Trump giving Ukraine Javelin missiles to kill Russian soldiers, something Obama would never do and you clearly have a President with no intention of doing the bidding of Russia.
Trump rightfully wanted to suppress hostilities towards Russia just like Hillary did with her reset button and Obama did with his "ease up on me till after I'm re-elected and I'll help you out with your defensive missile problem in Eastern Europe" promise to Medvedev.
Trump was simply to proud to admit that Russia did try to interfere in our election even though we've never seen a bit of evidence that their "interference" changed a single vote, because he thought ( rightly ) that the left would use it to say that he wasn't the legitimately elected President and that's why he was reluctant to admit that it had ever happened. As the Mueller report concluded, yes the Russians tried to interfere and yes, they preferred Trump like 62 million Americans did, but no American much less anybody associated with the Trump campaign, worked voluntarily with Russia on their campaign.
Now we hear that Russia also told their people to "lay off Bernie because we support him too". Isn't it interesting that in all this time, we never heard that before. So, knowing that the Russian's prefer Bernie at least in the Democrat nominating process, should the FBI open an investigation into Bernie? If not, why not? He honeymooned in the Soviet Union for pete's sake.
And now that Comrade Bernie, "I'll end all fracking in America and destroy it's economy" could become President, you on the Left don't think Russia would prefer Bernie be elected? Please.

Acquitted? Yeah, wrong wording on the authors part. He should have told the truth...the fat lying bastards trial was whitewashed by those racist pig fuckers in the Freedom caucus.

A notorious Russian "troll factory" had a $1.25 million budget in the run-up to the 2016 presidential election to interfere in the US political system, according to charges filed by the Department of Justice.
On Friday, special counsel Robert Mueller's office announced the indictments of 13 Russian nationals and three Russian companies involved in interference operations targeting the US and the 2016 presidential election.
The charges took specific aim at the Internet Research Agency (IRA), a notorious Russian "troll factory" which focused on sowing political discord during the 2016 election by using internet bots to spread fake news and pro-Donald Trump propaganda on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms.
One month before the 2016 election, the IRA was reportedly operating on a monthly budget of at least $1.25 million. The organization's primary source of funding came from Yevgeny Prigozhin, a Russian oligarch and ally of President Vladimir Putin, who controlled Concord Management, Consulting LLC and Concord Catering. Prigozhin and his two Concord entities were among the individuals and organizations included in Mueller's indictment.
All the defendants were charged with one count of conspiracy to defraud the US; the IRA and two defendants were charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud; and the IRA and four defendants were charged with aggravated identity theft.
Concord holds various contracts with the Russian government and controlled the IRA's funding, recommended personnel, and oversaw the group's management and activities, the indictment filing said. Concord was able to disguise its funding as payments related to software support and development, and the group often transmitted money to the IRA through a collection of 14 different bank accounts, the DOJ said.
The goal was to 'provoke unrest and discontent'
Last year, a former IRA employee named Max, who was interviewed by the independent Russian news outlet Dozhd, said the organization consisted of a "Russian desk" and a "foreign desk."
The Russian desk, which was primarily made up of bots and trolls, used fake social-media accounts to flood the internet with pro-Trump agitprop and made-up news throughout the US presidential campaign, especially in the days leading up to the November election.
Those on the foreign desk had a more qualitative job that was geared toward understanding the "nuances" of American politics to "rock the boat" on divisive issues like gun control and LGBT rights, Max said.
The ultimate goal was "to set Americans against their own government," Max added, "to provoke unrest and discontent."

Just how dumb does a person have to be to believe that anybody including "un-decidedes" read any of that Russian dis-information and said to themselves "I thought Hillary was a great person and was inclined to vote for her before I read that stuff and although I'm not a Republican and hate everything Republicans stand for, I'm going to vote for Trump". Just how dumb do you have to be to believe that?
Never mind, the evidence is plain to see who these people are.
And the fat lying bastard helped Putin all along the way.
And yet Mueller and company, all anti-Trump haters, couldn't produce a single bit of evidence to back up what you just said. Funny, huh?

RB ... it's really much simpler than that. There is no need to pretzel around in a discussion about it .... because in this country we enjoy the ...

Since he was not convicted of anything .... he's still INNOCENT! That's why there is no "exoneration," because there is NOTHING for which he is to be "exonerated".....he's INNOCENT!
I recognize that the LOONS on here how parrot to PUSSLOUSY'S RANTING have a difficult time to ingest that reality (unless of course if it's their ass on the line) but "that's the law"...IN THIS COUNTRY! They are just IGNORANT.
In fact that INSTRUCTION is in every criminal jury instruction submitted to every jury in this country ... state or federal.
WTF doesn't realize that because he predicted Zimmerman would be convicted of "something" for the death of Martin. You know the rest!

Oh ... You post like a fat-ass, beer-bellied, loudmouth 4th rank retired fireman in Dumpsville, Texas, who can't find his ass with both hands so they put him on a desk with a captain's pension until he croaks on the driveway sitting in the lawn chair sucking down beers and lying about all the heroic bullshit he did when he was younger!

It was Mueller's team who brought all these charges, correct? Well, we all know how that ended up. * palms face *
