The first time was unplanned. I found a hiking book taking about WV ghost towns with associated hikes and history. We were spending the weekend near there, the weather was great, so we packed a picnic lunch and went for a hike. We saw few others along the trail, and no one else at the ghost town. No light pollution, a balmy spring evening of the clearest starts I have seen in the lower 48, and having more leisurely erotic moments surrounded by the ghosts of 700 years ago.

No, unfortunately I had to postpone it. I'm pushing it back to 2015 at this point. The hiking to old ruins has peaked my interest. I like those abandoned old towns and buildings, for some reason.
If you ever get to Israel, try the climb to the top of Masada on the snake trail. It took me an hour, and it was hot as hell - so bring ample bottled water. Not my picture but close enough.
