Dude, can I get the name and number of the cop who filed this? Can you seriously file a claim against someone who you practically handed your keys to? That's just fucking amazing!
I thought you had to get an attorney and file a lawsuit and then battle the person in court.
I can't imagine reporting a STOLEN or LOST car with this statement:
911: "What is your emergency?"
Ameripro: "I just let a hooker borrow my car for 24 hours. I gave her the keys and she pulled a Harry Houdini and I haven't seen her since".
I think you have a better chance of just "Filing" this incident on your tax return. Write off your car as a "Charitable Donation". Hell, you just donated someone a new ride. You might have better luck being compensated by Uncle Sam.
But then too, why is she paying you for the car? Damn, couldn't she just bend over backwards? I would surely barter some ass for a car if I couldn't sell it to get something financed. LOL
