Missed the point eah, can't see the forest for the trees?

Natural resource deposits. They are why we have the vast amounts
of natural resource deposits, coal, crude oil, natural gas, and others,
that are used to fuel this modern world. Without which the world
would be very different, maybe even still in a primitive state.

They had to be created by God at exactly the right time, in exactly
the right amount, and go through exactly the right process to insure
that we could utilize them in this present age.

For everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven.

Funny how things seem so planed out sometimes.

And I don't have a hard on for you Lust. I am all for your choice to believe as you want. As long as those choices don't involve murder and violence, more power to person. And I don't belittle people for their choices.

Good day
I belittle the fiction, not the people. Big difference. I'm happy to engage with anyone who has a different perspective. In fact, that's what I want. That's what's interesting. That's how you learn. The exchange here has been cool.

I didn't go after anyone the way you came after me. That's ok though... there is no greater challenge than a mind as narrow and closed as yours appears to be.

So you bring the topic of guns into this discussion? Now I think we understand the root of that burr up your ass. If you want to start a thread on America's obsession with guns, I'm happy to participate. But not here.

Roger please tell me as I illustrated in several post- how it is possible that certain animals that exist today came to be:

1) Giraffe- evolutionist have stated that due to survival of the fittest - Giraffes grow their long neck because they competed with other herbivores for food and merely started stretching their neck to reach taller branches and therefore were able to survive. However, there's one huge problem with that theory- keep in mind evolutionist state the Giraffes didn't always have a long neck- it took 100's of thousands of years. Well the flaw with that theory- in a second or two- a Giraffe can lift it's head up or down 15 feet and not get a rush/dizzy/or faint whereas any other animal would pass out due to syncope. Well, amazingly the Giraffe has a flap near it's blood vessels that act as uniquely designed mechanism that basically prevents the Giraffe's Blood Pressure from dropping- so tell me Roger- how does the Giraffe evolve that feature? If you follow Evolution you must believe that at one point it didn't have that mechanism and every the Giraffe dropped it's head- it passed out and was eaten by predator- so it's high unlikely it evolved and more likely it was designed in that fashion.

2) See my post on the Woodpecker- can you name another bird that can drill into a tree? Why doesn't the Woodpeckers brain get scrambled- Design or evolution? Also, google the Woodpeckers tongue- it's tongue is like no animal on earth- again design or evolution?

3) Cheetah- everything about the Cheetah points to design over evolution.

4) Humans- according to Darwinian theory of natural selection- early humans had a lot of hair and through natural selection females started choosing men who had less hair and thereby humans lost their fur/hair. Ok if you buy into that theory- tell me if this makes sense- humans were once very hairy than we all of sudden decided through natural selection to lose hair/fur only to right away start hunting animals and wearing their fur so we don't freeze to death- does that make any logical sense?

5) Bombardier Beetle- when it's attack by a predator it can mix chemicals in it's abdomen and cause an explosion to temporarily stun the predator. Now, evolutionist state the Beetle evolved the process over 100,000 years- please tell me how it got evolved? If it got evolved than there must have been thousands of Beetles that committed suicide as a result of mixing the chemicals. In conclusion, since the Beetle mixes various chemicals that are needed all at once- how could this have evolved over 100,000 years????
Without meaning to, you are making the case for evolution.

Evolution happens over generations so none of us can witness it live (except in the case of virus, etc.), but it's happening all around us.

The average height of people has increased inches over the past 600 years. This is history, not theory.

In cultures that have worn shoes for the past 1000 years, the little toe is beginning to head towards obsolescence. It was a gripping toe, not a power toe. Not used or needed in a shoe. Our feet are changing.

All of your examples are survival mechanisms. That's what evolution is all about. As life forms evolve, of course that includes the changes in physical structure required to support the change. When creatures from the sea took to land, they needed limbs. When creatures from the land took to the sky, they needed hollow bones. You have to stop thinking in terms of immediate change. Genetic evolution of complex species takes place over long periods of time.

You are the very first one to go after peoples religious beliefs. The first one in the whole thread, and it wasn't even about religion.

And you were the very first one to bring up the guarantees of the constitution. And it wasn't about the constitution either.

That 112 mile crater on the Yucatan Peninsula is pretty good clue as to what happened to the dinosaurs. No matter where you go in the world, the geological record shows evidence of an asteroid strike.

Besides, weren't you talking about Genesis a few posts ago. Do you believe that dinosaurs in man walk the earth together? Do you believe that the Flinstones the documentary? There's a 59 million a year gap in the fossil record between the dinosaurs died and went first primates showed up.

Now you've have confirmed that you don't even know how oil and gas came to be in the ground. I'm being serious, were you homeschooled? Why do you think they are called fossil fuels? Stumped?

Oil and gas are thought to be mostly from sea life.

Coal deposits are from the huge amount of vegetation that grew
on the earth and also to a lesser extent the dinosaurs and other animals.

The animals were dependent on the plant life, and the plant life dependent
on the animals. Read about the dependence of plants and animals
on each other for a global ecology.

All for the purpose of becoming the vast natural resource
deposits we utilize today.

Progress! It takes millions of years for those organisms to be converted into hydrocarbons. That takes more that the few thousand years the Bible claims the world to be. That means Genesis is a fabrication. Just like the talking animals with eyes all over their body in the pictures above.

The universe is billions of years old, the earth millions.

Don't be a silly bible fundamentalist, although Ken Ham would be proud.

The Earth is billions of years old, almost 5 billion. At what point did I ever mention I believe in God? You're the one saying it was God and his magical powers. You said that a few posts ago. That's the problem with fantasy, you can't make sense of it because it's not logical.

What is even scarier, aside from the Sun morons, is the college grads nowadays. I have interviewed probably 80-90 the past few years from colleges all over the Country with nice degrees (mainly engineering and science) and you'd be amazed how many cant spell, put together a sentence properly, etc..

It's sad really, and part of the reason we as a Country are falling behind others in the science arena and education in general.

You can believe what ever you want, but you just cant be ignorant of facts and reality along the way, IMO

All I've read here is how intolerant atheists can be

Man is flawed, science is man made which makes science flawed
