Again, 12 of the top 15 nations in defense spending are on our side. Who, exactly, do you propose is going to "subdue us" if we cut back to only spending twice as much as any other nation? Newsflash: this ain't 1973.
We are far more likely to "be subdued" by our debt caused by our military spending than we are to "be subdued" militarily if we were to cut back on our military spending.
