Good morning Sharp, If you had noticed that number 56 on Kimberly's list said the administration had limited the salaries of top aides. That's what that citation was about. Salaries! Not how long it was going to take to fix the economy.
And the story came from a news organization, not a blog, usually friendly to the administration.
Perhaps you can read the story and tell us all if you still believe number 56 on Kimberly's list is true.
Oh, and the part about the earth.... it's true. The earth is not round. It's actually an oblate spheroid. Its equatorial diameter is longer than its polar diameter.

It's obvious that for decade upon decade nothing has changed with either party at the helm. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. I feel it's far past time to sweep them all out of office and let Libertarians have a shot. At least it would be trying something different.

Good morning Bag. I do believe # 56 is a typo. "President Barack Obama did institute a salary freeze in January 2009 for White House staffers earning more than $100,000. According to The Associated Press, the freeze - which is still in effect - applied to about 100 aides."
"The salary increases for 19 of the 21 employees listed resulted from promotions. Average pay for White House staff actually declined."
"Overall, FactCheck.org reports, White House salaries decreased this year. A total of 466 paid staffers received $38.8 million in salaries in 2010, an average of $83,254. In 2011, 451 paid employees received a total of $37.1 million for an average of $82,309." http://www.factcheck.org/2011/08/top...-house-raises/
http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-...l-employee-pay
It might also interest you to know that it's Congress who approves White House pay, not the President. Better call Boehner and his Tea Party lackies and complain if you're not happy with the decisions they make. "The total spending on salaries is determined by Congress, which has to approve the annual White House budget. In 2007, President Bush requested a total of $51.9 million for White House office salaries. (That's for the core of 500 or so staffers.) The numbers creep up every year. In 2003, the maximum pay for assistants was $151,000. Since then, it has increased between 1.7 percent and 4 percent annually. In 2008, it reached $172,000 and remains there, since Obama declared a pay freeze for anyone making more than $100,000."

Having no one in charge would also be "trying something different," would it not? It would certainly not be a good idea but it would be different!

Well I have apparently hurt a few feelings because I don't like POTUS. Oh well. I'll be honest I didn't bother with reading your entire responses, I knew better. I mentioned Obama as having not been the one to get Bin Laden and that's true. I received a bit of greif from BigTex over that statement. Don't take everything literally man. Of course I didn't expect him to kick in the door himself, I am
Just making tge point that many want to act like he did or that he was the mastermind behind Bin Ladens demise. Frankly I know better and I know exactly how that mission came to be and how it truly went down
Obama has destroyed The U.S. and I list this as an accomplishment because I think he is accomplishing his goals as a president. The writing is on the walls folks. He along with MANY others are doing their best and a damn good job I might add at turning our country into a socialist society. Hence destroying America, along with the freedoms that we all enjoy, the freedom to write this post or participate in the hobby even. You have your beliefs and I have mine. I'm not attacking anyone and expect the same in return. I just participated in an Internet thread, it's an opinion, by definition it can't be wrong.
Out here!

That's the biggest bunch of complete and total bullshit I have ever read, and that's saying a lot coming from this forum! I am not certain you even know what socialism is, but here's your chance to prove it.
Name on single policy Obama has proposed or enacted that would change means of production strictly from "for profit" to "for use".
Name one single policy Obama has proposed or enacted that has Nationalized any means of production.
Name one single policy Obama has proposed or enacted that supports economic interventionism.
Now kindly tell me Sir, do these charts represent what you would consider a "Socialist" society? Yes, America may very well be destroyed, but it's for the exact opposite of the reasons you've stated and the very reasons the charts below explain.

But,but, but Fturd is in love with the half black man in D.C. and likes for us to give him things to research and post....So he can show us how smart he thinks he is...
I thought Whipers was long winded and had to much time to write shit on here. I am thinking Fsucker likes to hear or see him self post more bullshit than anyone....At least Whispers talked about real important stuff like how to pick up a stripper....Talking about hookers and strippers is a much happier topic. Hell Democracy died last week anyway. So everyone go get a coke, a hooker, and a smile and shut the fuck up.......LOL

Hmmm, seems you've out-bullshitted me by about 7 to 1. And I've been on the board four months longer!
Yes, there is some small satisfaction I get in making you look stupid in public.

I may have more post count, but I think you blow me away in word count. If you look at my post I have a lot of one liners. If you look at yours you have many multiple paragraph post that take up a page.
