In your spare time google 'DJI index' and the select the '5 year' frame. Now lay a 6 " ruler or other straight-edge along that line and you will see that the last 5 years is a pretty nice straight line with some 'noise' or fluctuation as one might expect.Four f those five years were Obama years and one was Trump yet they all fit nicely on the same line, funny about that.

That's bullshit. A straight line would mean the DJIA increased by roughly the same percentage in each of the last 5 years. You're not even close to being correct:

2013: +26.50%
2014: + 7.52%
2015: - 2.23%
2016: +13.42%
2017: +25.08%

bahhaaaa. exactly right anyone with junior high algebra skills can graph that by inspection as a V shaped graph. the only way you connect the line of a drop (to negative numbers!!) then peak like this is draw a line to the peaks. and of course ignore the huge dip in between.

took a look at what alchemist said about the DJI index.

it does appear that there is a straight line from 2013 to 2018. as Waco points out, there are caveats to this. theres "noise" during the 2015 - 2016 period.

the increase stops on May 2015. there is a down turn through 2015 and much of 2016 stayed more or less at 2015 levels. You don't begin to see an increase until Nov. 4 2016.
