I agree with your statement. I don't attribute the fall of this nation to guns though. I attribute it to the leaders we elect. They don't work for us, they haven't for a very long time. They spend a great deal of time convincing us what we should be afraid of and who and what to blame. I use to have confidence in our elected officials especially on the federal level. I don't feel confident in them anymore. I question everything. I've become rather skeptical and suspicious of them. They are a conniving group of pigs.

He fails to see he is exactly what he rails against. The irony is thick. He is locked away in his own mind, a prisoner for every single day of his life up until yesterday. He sees nothing wrong. He desires no change. After enough libation, he would no doubt admit he could happily inhabit 1860's America. Retrograde fucksticks, every stinking last one of them. Dragged kicking and fucking screaming into the 21st century. They don't particularly care for equality. For women or for the dark man. Each knowing their place is the world they long for. They've run the show for 400 years. And now they see the power slipping from their grasp and they're afraid. They've never lived in a world they didn't rule. It's going to be interesting to watch. Over time, they will rage against the light, but they will ultimately fail. Sad, really. A man rarely knows when he's conquered.

Where did I mention race? The countries YOU mentioned are 3rd world nations, where the majority of the people live in poverty. The chances of overcoming that poverty are low. Crime is rampant because the majority are trying to get what they don't have. If you put white people under the same conditions, the result would be the same. Try traveling a little bit to those countries you mentioned or other similar countries and look at living conditions for the average person. Then come back and tell me that life there is comparable to life in the U.S. No they should not be considered in a comparison against the U.S. Apples versus oranges.
Your statement on D.C. v. Heller is spot on. But here is WombRaider's statement to which you cited the decision:
No one said it has to be easy to obtain them.
Which the D.C. v. Heller decision did NOTHING to impact. It is still very difficult to purchase a handgun in Chicago.

You and your lib-retarded ilk are the jackasses who want to cherry pick data for comparison in this instance by conspicuously excluding third world countries from any comparison, Speedy. Per the latest news reports there are some 11 million illegals in this country from the countries you want to ignore, Speedy.
And D.C. v. Heller explicitly stated that D.C. could not impose restrictions that de facto amounted to a ban on guns, Speedy.
Quote:
"[H]andguns are the most popular weapon chosen by Americans for self-defense in the home, and a complete prohibition of their use is invalid. We must also address the District’s requirement (as applied to respondent’s handgun) that firearms in the home be rendered and kept inoperable at all times. This makes it impossible for citizens to use them for the core lawful purpose of self-defense and is hence unconstitutional." D.C. v. Heller

Affirmative action has been in place since the 1960's, fifty years! I don't know many people alive who have been in power much longer than that.
The problem with affirmative action is that the beneficiaries are individuals benefitting from their ability to manipulate the government into reimbursing them for the group's loss. Additionally, it punishes individual whites for the supposed sins of the entire race.
If the premise of white discrimination is correct, then measures should be taken to punish all whites, and benefit all blacks. No other group deserves nearly as much, since they (the non-black victims) came to this racist country willingly, if not enthusiastically.

The problem with you is that when you make a statement that is not true and someone points it out you try and vilify them by claiming they must not care about whatever the current topic is. I never said it was acceptable or a good thing. All I did was point out the fact that the US does not have the most gun deaths than any country in the world. You defeat yourself by making shit up to support your viewpoint.

You get a clue dumbass. There is a big difference in paying local taxes to paying federal and fica tax. This is what you do every time. Try and steer the conversation to a different direction when it's not going your way.

Well, at least your off the race issue. Score one.
And comparing Honduras versus the U.S. is not ridiculous? Your continued stupidity just never ceases to amaze me. If you want to continue to believe that comparing the U.S. homicide rates to such countries and then whine "See. The U.S. ain't that bad." is valid, feel free to do so. With such logic, maybe this year you'll overtake Assup as DOTY. Isn't 2nd place good enough for you? Really want to be #1?
Again, you are correct on D.C. v. Heller. And that is ALL the decision did. Guns are no longer banned in D.C. But are they easy to obtain. NO.
And that is all WombRaider stated and the statement to which you objected.
No one said it has to be easy to obtain them.

Of course I disagree with it. It is a completely made up lie by you. The US is not even close to being the most dangerous country in the world.
How's your friend doing that went to Jonestown and sampled the kool aid? Keep drinking up dipshit.

If a person needed a lesson in how not to post, they could choose any 12 of your posts at random. They virtually all suck big time, and are void of any meaningful use.

The statement in D.C. v. Heller proving your POV wrong was cited and quoted, Speedy. And per the latest news reports there are some 11 million illegals in this country from the very countries you mendaciously want to ignore, Speedy.
