So your saying that the final will be Germany vs Netherlands?
I dont think so amigo, It will be Brazil vs Argentina after they take care of Germany and Netherlands ...
Robben will be awarded the best supporting actor for his dive if he can come out from the "tube" in Mexico City" ...

Argentina better play much, much, much better. Holland played badly vs. Mexico--I'll give you that but, that won't be the case from now on. I'm sticking with the Dutch. However...an all South American final isn't shocking.

An all south american final, is less likely to happen, Im sticking to my guns Argentina will lose today. Also incase anyone is overlooked the fact that Brazil lost Neymar for the rest of the world cup. With that said Brazil will have a hard time against Germany, adding the loss of thiago silva, just makes it that much difficult.
But how many times has it not been noted in this thread of Brazil's sloppy play!

History will repeat itself, it will be Argentina vs. Germany!
That Neymar injury was bullshit! The ref should be banned from the world cup for overlooking clear fouls. It was a pretty clear ejection both teams played a real dirty game because the ref didn't do his job.

I expected more creativity from Belgium in the last 20 minutes.
Argentina played well but Belgium I thought would be a little more careful with possessions as time was winding down.
Both semi-finals should be very good and anyone can win it.
With that said.... I see an all European Final again for this WC.

I FUCKING TOLD YOU SO!!! Via La Van Gaal!
Good omens for my Manchester United!
They simply don't quit which is more the I can say about my beloved England--sadly!
France out--Brilliant! Now for the Germans...they aren't as good as people think! Algeria gave them all they wanted.

I call a Germany - Argentina final. Both teams are elastic... they can raise their game as needed.
Brasil is screwed without Neymar. I'm not looking forward to their next game because they are already flopping ninjas and I'm sure it will only get worse now.
Argentina didn't play well as a team today, but Messi is in good form. That matters.
Only three more games to go.

The ref might have called a foul but with all of Neymar's flopping how could he? Hell, Neymar probably hurt himself with his last two flops and flopped again. Refs, and people in general, tend to ignore the chicken littles after a piece.

What kind of injury are they claiming he had? I haven't studied the replay, but it didn't appear that there was much force involved. Imagine if he played baseball and took a fastball to the back. I guess that would have killed him LOL
I wouldn't be at all surprised if he plays on Tuesday.

Well I'm not just limiting to that one foul there were several fouls between both teams especially at the end when reality begins to sink in and you know its do or die. Tensions run high and players get irate so the ref definitely can't fail on that one. Hell the first yellow card of the game was to Silva I believe and in my opinion thats only because he had to otherwise he would've told everyone to keep going. So far the refs have been good but the Brazil vs Colombia game was just real dirty.

Lol ok my call to ban the ref might have been a exaggerated but here is why, and its not because its Nyemar. This was a straight knee to the back image that coming at you with a force, its going to fuck you up. The ref didn't see this one though so that justify's the no action. He was focusing on the path of the ball not the entire field.

I agree that there was a ridiculous absence of fouls being called. It also looked like it was pretty one-sided, for most of the match, and it did appear to get progressively worse as time went on....as you'd expect. I hope a lot of these ref's are sanctioned in some way.
I also plan to go back and look at the replay. A vert fracture* is a very serious injury, which for a normal person (let alone a world class athlete), would require more than a little force. That just didn't appear to be the case. And, if it had....I think it would have been obvious to everyone and the guy who did it would have gotten his head taken off right then and there LOL
It's possible that he was hurt in some way. If he will in fact be out the next game, then it must have truly been something, I just have a hard time believing it was that bad. I guess it also goes back to the "chicken little" and/or "crying wolf" thing. Soccer's like the fucking WWE sometimes.

*Obviously, "fracture" is also a pretty general term, considering the widely varying degrees/types of fractures.
