You are wrong about the EURO. When it became the national currency in 2002 to most major European countries, it was practically equal to the US Dollar, I know this for a fact, as at that time I lived in Europe and went through the change, I lived in Italy and they switched from Lira's to Euros.Get your facts straight if you want to spout them off.

All "developed" economies in the world are supported on a big lie and assumption that governments stand behind their money and economies. That is a bunch of bullshit. Like the Euro, the USD is not backed by anything except "faith" in the government. We all know how much we can trust the government. A complete joke. But to cut to the chase. in 1995-1996 during the Clinton years in office the USD was the strongest I ever remember it in my life. One dollar could buy 3.2 Bulgarian levs, or in then's currency as Bulgaria was in a state of a hyper inflation 3200 Bulgarian levs. (By the way, the US is in a state of hyper inflation since decades ago but the government STILL manages to keep things together on fake assumptions). I do not want to even think of what turmoil will ensue if the government just let go. I certainly will want to be in Bulgaria at that point. So back then $1 was 3.20 today's levs. As of right now, $1 is approximately 1.42 levs. In January 2012 the USD was the lowest ever compared to the Bulgarian lev I can remember at 1.22 levs for $1. This is a head-spinning plunge from 3.20 to 1.22. The downward trend will only continue with brief recoveries as the US continues to flood the world with worthless papers and support its fake economy indexes. As far as Euros and Dollars. When the Euro first came out $1 bought almost E2. We see where things have been for the last 15 years. Trust me, in the long run things do not look promising and good for the US economy. Supposedly the "biggest" in the world. The biggest in the politicians minds. What the reality is is a different question. If only 5 per cent of the US population demands its money from the banks in a single day the whole economy goes to shit and banks will be stalled. This is how strong your US economy is. A huge lie and assumption. Again, America's wealth is cosmetic.
All this I just said does not mean I do not like America and do not appreciate the good things it has. I am saying this so you do not start bashing me again to go to my own country. This is no man's land and as a US citizen I can come and go as I please. And as an European I am perfectly aware what the lev is pegged to. That in itself is another big joke!
PS: you may want to read a little bit more as Wikipedia is your good friend what a bank run is LustyLad. All it takes for it to occur is 5 per cent of the population demanding their fakely "created" money by the banks. Perhaps you think FDIC will "guarantee" your money? Yeah, sure by printing more of it. Only problem is at the time they give it to you it won't buy you shit. Namely speculation of this type for decades have allowed for example a fucking Port Authority driver to make $27 an hour driving a fucking bus or a senator to make 150k a year sitting on his ass. Money that exists only in banks' and government's computers.

“Lustylad, here are the facts man”? You're not even factual about the history of your own currency, you dipshit. During the 1990s the lev was a joke. The Bulgarian economy suffered repeated bouts of hyper inflation, causing the lev's exchange rate to go to hell in a handbasket. Here is a fun table for you, tatas. Hyper inflation is when prices go up by more than 50% a month. It looks like your home country shows up on this rogue's list twice – in 1991 and 1997. Congratulations!
http://www.cato.org/sites/cato.org/f...e-may-2013.pdf
By the way, the American expert who put the table together (Steve Hanke) taught the Bulgarians how to set up and run a Currency Board. That's how the lev was finally stabilized in 1997. President Stoyanov thanked him afterwards. You're welcome, tatas.
The US is not “in a state of hyper inflation”. Only an idiot would make such a claim. Our consumer price inflation is currently running at roughly 2% A YEAR. Hyper inflation is when prices go up by more than 50% A MONTH.
As for the dollar exchange rate, the best way to track it is to look at the dollar's index (DXY) against a basket of major world currencies. Back in July 1995 (when you said the dollar was strongest), this index stood at 82.0. Today, nineteen years later, it stands at 80.0. What a "head-spinning plunge"! The sky is falling!
How big is the US economy? Last year it produced $16.2 trillion worth of goods and services. If you think that's a lie, go tell it to the US Department of Commerce. (Take a course in national income accounting before you go.) Bulgaria's economy produced $53 billion last year, according to the World Bank. That means the US economy was over 300 times bigger, tatas. No wonder Bulgarians have small dicks.
To tell the truth, I don't worry much about old-fashioned bank runs in the US. But I can understand your nervousness, tatas. Do you still put all your money from your gay webcam porn shows in Corpbank? If so, you may want to read this:

Tits, Silver is on his IPad looking for some info from his horse friends. Me, enjoying my coffee, German, and in a few hours will be at the gun club for a match. Some good old boys think they can out shoot me. Big money Tits, it's like your gay porn site, at $6 p/m, I'm taking these boys at $5 a shot, 200 shots p/round, 4 rounds. What AG said is very true, I have always enjoyed the HUNT. Your are either the HUNTER or the Hunted.

Lustylad, I don't need your charts to know what the reality is. It does seem to me that you have too much faith in the government. I don't give a shit what the US dept of commerce tells me or any other government entity. I am telling you and I am seeing how much money I get when I exchange the dollar for other currency back then and today. Again, a dive from 3.20 to 1.22 January 2012. Again those dollar indexes are fake. Look at the real money buddy, not government digits. I am telling you if 5 per cent of people demand their money from any US bank that Bank goes to shit. If most banks' customers demand their money in 5 per cent only the whole economy goes to shit. Here is another example of how to look into that. This is the balloon America is. You sign up for a credit card and have $20 000 limit. You spend those $20 000 and never pay them back. There you go. you've created $20 000 that doesn't really exists but banks are required to honour it if the person that charged that amount is to withdraw it. The US economy is a total balloon that only due to the government actions has not blown up yet and hyper inflation and turmoil has not started. In Europe we do not infest the world with worthless dollars and thus the consequences are greater. It's coming here too. Matter of time. You will have your house robbed every week then if things get that bad because the streets will be filled with rioters.

Listen to yourself. You are willfully stupid and impervious to reality. Where did you study economics, tatas? You presume to lecture us on hyper inflation (non-existent here) when it was a US monetary expert who saved Bulgaria from hyper inflation back in the 90s... what's wrong with this picture? Yeah tatas, banks create money. That's what they do. Duh. Money and banking 101. Not a problem unless we lend it to too many deadbeats like you or crooks like that Vassilev guy. Is that why the Russian mafia is after you? When you apply for a loan, do you list "gay webcam porn star" under occupation? Don't lie, tatas, that would be fraud and you can go to jail for that. Too bad about all those bank failures back in Sofia. Be careful wiring money to your mother.

Yes lustylad, I can certainly lecture you on economics. American guy saved us from inflation? You need to go to the doctor and be checked. It is exactly why because of that American "great" economist and Richard Ran and one more moron from the USA in combination with corrupted as fuck politicians who will sell themselves to the devil that many countries are where they are. Those American "capacities" brought no good. They robbed the people from their money along with shitty politicians. Politicians are shitty everywhere though, not just there. So please do not tell me those guys helped anything. Look at why the US is in Iraq- Oil. Look at why the US is in Afghanistan - narcotics. Yes to steal and rob the oil and the narcotics while they are "waging" a war on drugs here domestically. You are full of shit lustylad. The whole US economy and not only (every western) so-called industrialized country is like the credit card balloon I told you about. On my street alone there are three houses with signs "FOR SALE" and there are 3 or 4 nice cars parked in front of them of people who are being evicted by the banks. Why are they being evicted if they have 4 nice cars and demonstrate wealth? Again and again, America's wealth is cosmetic.

No Pistolero. Her ss will not be paid out in Bulgarian levs. The first thing we need to worry about is if she is entitled to a SS benefit. It takes at least 10 years of work to qualify for that and with 10 years of work you are probably not going to get much. Maybe 300-400 or so.
