I called it. Harris or Gov Whitmer made the most sense. Rice has talent, but has the Benghazi baggage and she has never run for any office.

I agree, Harris made the most sense. I put too much stock in Rice's foreign policy experience (nobody cares), and ability to mobilize the black vote.. which she can, BUT Harris will draw needed white suburban women, the group that put Trump into office. Besides that Biden has foreign policy cred, he doesn't need Rice.
the Republicans will desperately attempt the "she's a Socialist" nonsense, which will fall flat, as it has with Biden. Hell, Biden could have chosen Strom Thurmond, "Socialist" would still be the playbook.
I predicted on this website, 17 months ago, that Harris would be the Presidential pick.

Biden doesn't need Harris to draw out the black vote. Black people don't like her. You could see it all over the primaries. Nobody liked Harris. She's a moron who has held virtually every position depending on who was interviewing her.
Why would white suburban woman put Biden and Kamala into office if they didn't want to put Hillary into office?
This ticket comes down to whether or not you hate Trump so much that you're willing to vote for the worst ticket in American politics.

Republicans never said Biden was a socialist. They said he's wishy washy and will say whatever he needs to say VS having a consistent view. But he has been going pretty far left these days, probably to appease the bernie bros.
And no, the "she's a socialist" card will absolutely work on Kamala since she's openly advocated for medicare for all, which is distinctly socialist position to have.

I predicted right after he (more or cless) clinched the nomination after winning Georgia that Kamala would be his 2nd.
Too bad she's an aging piece of rotten shit who Trump and Pence will rip apart in the general.
Friendly reminder that Tulsi Gabbard DESTROYED Kamala in the primaries.

“This ticket comes down to whether or not you hate Hillary so much that you're willing to vote for the worst ticket in American politics in 2016.”
Fixed it for you.
Biden could have picked a bag of hammers as his VP and he’ll still win.

I have already seen several ads that point to Biden as a Socialist. maybe parsing words, but the ads say the Socialist Wing are controlling Biden, who is too incompetent to make a decision on anything. I think that level of hyperbole will fall flat. I know Trump mowed down each of his Republican opponents last time, by adopting monikers and discrediting them. that playbook is old, people want to retreat from the nastiness of 2016 and beyond. Trump ironically called Harris "nasty" yesterday, even as he is the most nasty national politician in several generations. I see Republicans desperately flailing right now, trying to come up with something to advance their candidacies, in the wake of sinking poll numbers. "this will be Biden's America", the ads say, showing Antifa rioting.. except it is Trump's America right now. "the stock market will crash", Trump says, if Biden is elected. really? it crashed under Trump, and is alive now, because of Federal Reserve pumping trillions of dollars in liquidity, buying risk assets, backstopping loans. the economy is still very weak, and Trump is desperate.. new capital gains cut coming, he says.. huh? give Millionaires even more than he already has given? this guy and his Party, who pretend to believe deficits are economy-killing?
I think it's over for Trump. barring a real debate series of Biden fuck ups, which I don't think will happen. the senile, dementia playbook is already stale, and beyond desperate.

Dow Jones up +232.02, S&P up +44.61, Nasdaq up +229.32.
If Biden can get us out of this Covid mess the economy will take back off and repair itself. Deep down, we all know that.
Then Trump can sit around tweeting all day how Joe inherited a great economy.
I realize the stock market is not the economy. Sure, there may be some changes in the tax code, but that will not stifle growth.
Hell, the offset of ending this useless trade war will counterbalance that.

maybe from the more partisan groups, but generally speaking, the "mainstream" view of Biden is that he's.... kind of moderate.

AOC and her dumbass crew are basically cornering the democrats into more radical views than they really want using the race card. And since Democrats are always about the race, they can't disavow her, either. So, congrats for Democrats, your own identity politics is working against you.

But the same could be said of Democrats playing the race card. Biden's entire gameplan is "I'm not Trump who is a racist." Is that really going to be enough to win over independents? I doubt it.

Have you seen Tulsi rip apart Kamala in the debates? Because it's glorious and Kamala had no rebuttal to her at all. How exactly is Trump a nasty politician? He fights dirty, but so do the Democrats? Like, literally every four years they drum the racial narrative, they say women should be listened to unless it's a conservative woman, they routinely demagogue the opposing party.. I'm not sure I understand where you get the notion that he's the most nasty politician, when politics in general on the left has always been a shit show, while politics on the right is always a bunch of pussies who talk but never walk.

I think Republicans are more worried about the covid situation. That could make or break Trump's president, imo. As for sinking poll numbers, I think we've pretty much established that polling can be massively inconclusive, especially when taking into consideration the sample.

I mean, the same riots happened in 15/16 and that was Obama's America and Hillary lost, so it's kind of moot, no?

A bit hyperbolic, I agree.

I mean, you can't really blame Trump for an economy that sank because of a "pandemic." I agree he should have sacked up and kept businesses open instead of listening to that little pussy Fauci and forcing businesses to shut down for a month and a half, then still allowing local governments to force businesses to remain closed. As for fiscal responsibility, loooool. BOTH parties suck with money.

Biden just has to go on stage and he will sink his own dumbass campaign. Needs no help from Trump at all. But I'm sure Trump will capitalize and make videos of them.
Quote:

How? Like, you can hear him verbally fucking up in interviews. If it's a one-off thing, okay, fine. People sometimes do muck up words. But Biden is CONSTANTLY feeding himself his own foot.
And let's be real. If Trump made even a fraction of those types of mistakes, the media would air it till the end of time.
Ironically, Biden doing nothing presents a better chance of him winning the election.
As for the woman thing...
Women voted from Trump after the immortal pussy grabbing tape. And yeah, Kamala is also a woman, but you're forgetting that she effectively slept her way to power. You don't think women will consider that when voting?
Kamala adds nothing to the numbers.

The way Biden would get us out of this is by declaring he fixed it. Irregardless who wins the election, Covid will be over in November. Trump wins, he will be a lame duck president and Democrats can not use this to impeach him so they will move to something else. If Biden wins, the democrats and media together will declare problem solved and move on so they can say they got us out of the nightmare scenario. All BS like it is every day.
Covid or not, Election day, come hell or high water, I promise you a Trump voter is going to cast their vote and I'll be first in line.

Has anyone seen the actual photo of Biden with his cheat sheet for his conversation to Harris?
Conveniently, the news media had to block that from view so he didn't look like such an idiot. Also, tried to blur out that he was holding his phone upside down. This would be headlines if it were Trump.
