Last night there were tons of photos, comments, tweets, threads etc....One was on Twitter.com it was @RickeySmiley saying "Surely Im not surprised. However I hope he gets his gun back cause he gonna need it"
I wont post any of the stuff I saw photos that is.I have an opinion on the case as well as the last few big ones like Casey Anthony,OJ,Jodie Aries etc....I just wish the best for the families losses. Either way it goes its all negative and sad.It happens every single day. He did get to leave a free man but he now has to choose "How" he lives his life "Free". Kinda like a celebrity thing where popparazzi will constantly be doing there thing. It may be a "Uncomfortable" dodge unless on the other hand it just drops and he goes on to have a good new life with no problems at all. I really don't know.
This is a crazy world. So much anger sometimes I just wont even look at the news for a week so my mornings will start off without sorrow for the pain people are suffering.

Clearly this is a hot topic for some......however we can continue the discussion without resorting to insults and name calling.

Hey. Got it. He could move in with the mommy baby killer. She's still in Orlando isn't she? They'd make such a cute couple...

Caber tossing....hmmm....well this is a board about poles and holes...but, the only way I'm tossing a telephone pole is a frontend loader. Staying on topic.......I see where a NFL player tweeted...the jury should just shoot themselves....and within 24 hours apologized. There you go. I had a few "going postal" employee death threats over the years along with their friends and family......HPD took a homicide report ...just in case....strange life when you can't go to your mailbox or get the paper without a gun in your hand. Stressful.

It's a strange life when the braindead citizens of this country would react in a way to make a man even consider taking a gun with him to check the mail because of being declared innocent of criminal charges...

George may not choose to do so.............but I did for almost a year after two terminated employees and several of their family members threatened to kill me....and they were terminated for theft.

While I agree Zimmerman should've been found not guilty, Zimmerman could have shown more restraint in following him. T. Martin, a teenager on trial for his own murder.

Actually, this was the expected outcome. The only undisputed facts are that (1) the two people crossed paths, (2) they argued, (3) Zimmerman got a broken nose and had his head banged into the concrete by Martin, (4) Zimmerman shot Martin after sustaining these injuries. Both sides agree with these facts.
There is no evidence to eliminate the plausability of Zimmerman's claim he was acting in self-defense.
Everything else is just public speculation that reflects peoples' sentiments. Fortunately, speculation does not count. Otherwise, the country is back to witch trials. Only actual evidence counts. Just because the two men are of different races does not make it a hate crime. (Sorry NAACP!) Just because Zimmerman had a gun does not make it murder. He is licensed to carry a concealed weapon under the 2nd Amendment. Just because a police dispatcher told Zimmerman not to follow and he didn't, does not make him guilty of murder. It does not make Zimmerman the aggressor.
What is the most disturbing aspect of this case, is that the court of public opinion convicted Zimmerman long before he was ever arrested. The original police chief and prosecutor would not charge Zimmerman because of the lack of evidence. However, the media and race-related civic organizations started making demands and petitions and his prosecution became a public, media-driven spectacle.
A trial where someone's life is at a stake should not be turned into a reality TV show where the public votes on a conviction. It is not a game show.

Huh? If you thinck Trayvon was murdered, then why would you thinck the jury should have acquitted the man responsible for that murder? Or did you really mean "on trial for his own homicide"?

Killing another human is murder. Self defense, offensive at war, it's murder. Zimmerman's murder was justifiable.
