I am still in shock such an authoritarian and overly punitive bill would pass without a lot of pushback. Texas is now headed in my opinion, the wrong direction in terms of personal liberty. Consensual sex should not be a felony. This really makes my blood boil. I may join the libertarian party in this state who include legalizing prostitution in their platform. This is insane texas is the only state that now considers consensual sex a felony.
