It would be going on one way or another.

Who controls the city council does not matter / would not matter. Most big cities (including Dallas) are Democrat-run, but it's not like all those big cities have a prosperous AMP scene like Dallas did. Dallas is/was a very unique situation whose history would definitely be interesting to learn. Just like you can find beignets in Louisiana because that state used to belong to the French, Dallas was the best AMP scene in the nation because of some reason that's unrelated to politics. (Maybe some of the very, very old-timers know and can shed some light).
However, the current crackdown on AMPs really does have to do with the lie that AMPs are trafficking humans. I first noticed this meme when Robert Kraft was caught at a Florida AMP. The ruling class ordered it through their control of media, and now people really do believe that girls like ShaSha were kidnapped and forced into this life, and ShaSha would not be sucking cock otherwise, lol.
For some reason, our ruling class really wants to crack down on "human trafficking." And it's probably because they want to deflect attention onto Korean women rather than their own sexual perversities, whereby they do the real human trafficking, in children for their "cheese pizza parties."
