"Trump has battled record low approval ratings throughout his first year in office. A Gallup poll released this week indicated that he was the least popular president ever entering his second year in the White House."
Source: http://www.newsweek.com/trump-approv...esident-778628
"President Donald Trump’s approval ratings have crumbled in Georgia over his first year in the White House, according to an Atlanta Journal-Constitution poll released Friday that shows nearly six in 10 registered voters disapprove of his performance.
Trump’s ratings in the poll are generally worse than what national polls have shown, and they deviate sharply from the results of the 2016 presidential election, when Trump won Georgia by 5 points."

"The public is more upbeat about the direction of the country and the economy, less likely to be looking for a job and less stressed. Yet they're not giving President Trump much of the credit, the latest IBD/TIPP Poll shows.
The January poll finds 35% approve of the job Trump is doing and 58% disapprove — a gap of 23 points, which is unchanged from last month. Trump's favorability rating is 36%, with 57% saying they have an unfavorable view of the leadership he's providing — a gap of 21 points."

Yes, it's only mid-January and 10 months from the elections and we all know that polls are sometimes wrong. But even with the stock markets soaring and tax reform on its way, people's views of Trump are not getting any better. Must be sampling error.

It's kinda funny. The dimretards have been saying forever that we can't send these immigrants back to their home countries because those places are so awful. But, let the President mention how awful those countries are and all HELL breaks loose. The left goes into meltdown mode!!!
Racist, my ass!

The 4th video accuses both Clintons of misconduct in handling funds after the earthquake in Haiti. First, as I stated, Haiti was an economic disaster long before the earthquake due to the Duvaliers.
"A US Government Accountability Office report discovered no hint of wrongdoing, but concluded the IHRC's decisions were "not necessarily aligned with Haitian priorities"."
Jake Johnston, an analyst with the Center for Economic and Policy Research, a nonpartisan group that has studied the quake reconstruction, told the BBC "it's hard to say it's been anything other than a failure".
But he believes the State Department and IHRC simply replicated the mistakes of the whole foreign aid industry by chasing short-term gains instead of building longer-term capacity on the ground.
"They relied too much on outside actors," Mr Johnston says, "and supplanted the role of the Haitian government and domestic producers."
While the Clintons in their respective roles clearly had a say over where some of the quake relief cash flowed, their political enemies have wrongly claimed the family foundation directly controlled all the billions in funds.
The foundation itself raised a relatively modest $30m for aid projects in Haiti.
A spokeswoman for the charity told the BBC: "Every penny of the more than $30m raised was deployed on the ground, with no overhead taken by the Clinton Foundation."

So yes, the Haitian relief effort was pretty much a disaster, but in my opinion had little to nothing to do with turning Haiti into a "shithole".
How does the legacy of the Duvaliers (Francois "Papa Doc" and his son, Jean-Claude "Baby Doc," who ruled Haiti from 1957 to 1986) contribute to Haiti's current conditions?
The Duvaliers left Haiti economically decimated. A large number of educated professionals left the country during the Duvalier regimes, and the period that followed was so unstable, it was hard to lay down roots and build infrastructure. International investment was limited because it was an unreliable business environment.

I listened to news reports on several TV stations last night. Not one person said that what Trump said was correct. Several people said that Trump's comments on Haiti and Africa were at the very least racially insensitive and at the worst racist. Republicans like Lindsey Graham and Paul Ryan commented on Trump's statements as being negative. As far as I know, not one Republican in congress has come out and supported the president.
Yes, Haiti and most of the African countries are economic disasters, but there is a right way to say it and a wrong way to say it. Trump said it in the wrong way.
Question for you and other Trump supporters. I realize that you and AE are not going to let Trump's comments affect your opinion of him. Trump's core base will continue to support him. But what about others who are sitting on the fence regarding whether or not to support Trump and fellow Republicans in future elections? Do you think such comments help or hurt their chances?

Using someone else's misfortune to enrich yourself may not be a crime, but...
Needless to say, Haiti is no big fan of the Clintons. And, that was your original question.

My original question was "What did Hillary Clinton do to turn Haiti into a "shithole"?"
I agree that Haiti is no big fan of the Clintons but I still contend that Haiti was horrible economically long before the Clintons got involved in any way down there.

I don't know if it's fun to watch but it is certainly interesting. My opinion is that Trump's tweets and comments such as he made on Haiti and Africa can't help him in any way and will turn out to be hurtful to those up for election in 2016 and beyond. I've said before that turnout for elections are the deciding factor as to who wins and who loses. In the recent Alabama election, the rural turnout was low and the urban turnout high. Advantage Democrats. In 2016, Hillary Clinton did not generate the same support from blacks that Obama did. Very understandable. But when Trump makes remarks like he just did, whether you personally deem them racist or not, many who did not vote in 2016 will turn out in 2018 and 2020. Just like they did in Alabama. We'll see who's right in November 2018.
Trump continues to be his own worst enemy.

Either help him or have no impact. Those who voted for him are still with him. Sometimes the truth is just not pretty. It's easy to see that the media is just using this as their latest attempt to bring down the Trump administration. Both dims and Republicans have used such terms or worse for other countries in the past. No impact then. None now. People aren't stupid. That's why the media has a lower rating than the President or the Congress. Nobody trusts them anymore.

The only way it can impact the mid-terms is if the media is successful in their smear campaign against Republicans as they were in Alabama against Roy Moore. I wouldn't depend on that too much if I were you either. Like I said... People aren't stupid. Not anymore.

Help him isn’t an option at all. He’s antagonizing moderate Republicans that he needs all to motive his base of 35%. That’s not helping. And he’s mobilizing more independents against him. He needs both of those groups on top of his base to win and he’s not helping bring them into the fold.
It’s not just that he said Africa was a shithouse/shithole. It’s that he said that he wants people from Norway instead. So he doesn’t want black/brown people, give him those white people. Never mind he’s so uninformed that he doesn’t realize that Norway is a liberal socialist country. They wouldn’t be fans of his America. And he ignores the need for relations with Africa for defense and resources with his racist comments that has enraged the continent.
The President has an approval rating in the 30’s, that’s not something to brag about. And the media is more trusted than Trump by those independents and moderates.
So the media smeared Roy Moore? The same Roy Moore that Trump said he knew couldn’t win in a general election? The media reported on an important story. They didn’t smear Roy Moore. If they did he would be suing companies for libel and slander. He isn’t because he doesn’t want that discovery.
Look at what’s happening in California, a key state to taking back the House. Republicans in districts Clinton won are retiring instead of fighting. They can see that they are likely to lose and the things Trump is doing and saying isn’t going to help whoever the Republicans run in those districts.
I wouldn’t depend on Trump too much if I were you. People aren’t stupid. Not anymore...

This is how 45's supporter's see it. They will support him because deep down, they're racist bigots themselves. No one ever feels they are a bigot when you point out the bigotry in their ways, hence donald trump. It's crazy he shitted on Haiti like that when most of his staff at Maralago is Hatian, so what does that tell you?
This has done nothing but hurt him in mid term, hell he might not even be the Republican candidate on the ticket in 2020. He has upset a lot of Repubs and the moderates don' want to see him around. But you will still have those confederate flag tottin, gun slangin, good ole boys and girls that will support him no matter what, but they are in the minority.
