Z I do not consider myself as dumb as the majority of the fake republicans who infest our board but I am kind of dumb so somehow it still hasn't registered with me how Trump fucked with the 2016 election other than by upsetting the male lesbians who were praying for Hillary Clitoris.
Do me a favor and break it down for me as systematically as possible.

N It is really quite easy. One needs to only go back to why the Electoral College was created in the first place. Our Founding Fathers were men of wealth, landowners and such. They liked the concept of Democracy but wanted to ensure wealth will always prevail and call the shots in their new Republic. They feared a candidate not as sympathetic to them may win an election. So a Direct election was nixed in favor of adding a device (the electoral college) as a means to insure elections can be manipulated to go their way, if needed. This way the popular vote by the people will not insure they get who they voted for and who won the popular vote.
There have been a few elections in the past where this has happened. The 2000 'hanging chad election' just a few years ago is the most recent example. 2000 was a perfect case, showing how an election can be manipulated by Big money interests pulling the right strings/chads. This led to Dubya being installed in the WH.....and the disasters for the US that ensued.
2016 was much worse. Hillary gets 66 million votes while trump with only 63 million votes is installed by the EC. This is why trump fumed and worried so about being considered the Illegitimate President, that he is! This has also happened at times in British History regarding their Kings they considered Illegitimate. Brits had a beautiful term when this happened calling him the 'Bastard King'! A term used against him his whole reign. So there it is, some people I know, you can say many many people, consider Don the Con the Bastard President!.....believe me.....LOL

Well written as always Zollner. (I'm not being sarcastic). Transferring my thoughts to text has never been one of my strong suits. So credit where it's due.
In your response to NBT where do you actually answer his question?
He asked you to explain
how Trump fucked with the 2016 election.
The electoral college was already in place for many years before the 2016 election.
Trump winning the electoral college doesn't equate to him fucking with the election. Democrats may have felt fucked over by losing, but still not Trump's fault. The same rules apply to both sides.
Maybe your answer to NBT's question isn't obvious to me and I overlooked it. If that's the case, please point it out to me.
Here is more info about the electoral college in the Constitution.
From: history.com
The Electoral College in the U.S. Constitution
The original purpose of the Electoral College was to reconcile differing state and federal interests, provide a degree of popular participation in the election, give the less populous states some additional leverage in the process by providing “senatorial” electors, preserve the presidency as independent of Congress and generally insulate the election process from political manipulation.
The Constitutional Convention of 1787 considered several methods of electing the President, including selection by Congress, by the governors of the states, by the state legislatures, by a special group of Members of Congress chosen by lot and by direct popular election. Late in the convention, the matter was referred to the Committee of Eleven on Postponed Matters, which devised the Electoral College system in its original form. This plan, which met with widespread approval by the delegates, was incorpora
ted into the final document with only minor changes.

The 12th Amendment is very complex. James Madison was very intelligent.
Disempowering less populous states is very dangerous if the federal government is interested in maintaining a union.
Z's answer was an attack on the electoral college process and not a description of anything Super Trump or Super Trump's campaign did or did not do.
The truth is the democrat national committee was responsible for a series of atrocities in 2016 which probably started (although who knows with those creeps) with the imperial fucking of moronic weakling Bernie Sanders and climaxed with the Steele dossier, which was funded by Hillary Clitoris, and the Mueller investigation, which was a farce conducted by the democrat party. Even though all of these things ultimately have added up to nothing, they all disrupted the Super Trump presidency which was the primary directive once Clitoris inexplicably/unexpectedly/deliciously lost the election.
The one thing that is almost impossible to get around is that democrat operatives, federal law enforcement, the Hussein administration, the main stream media, and the twitter mob are all collectively suffering from a combination of TDS and PMS which gets worse every day.
All of this shit makes me happy and sad at the same time.

In 2016 it was more a case of the GOP doing that with or without help from trump.

GOP saw they had a means with the EC, to keep Hillary who got 3 million more votes out of the WH, by manipulating the EC and installing trump in spite of the FACT Donny got 3 million votes less.
The EC is a peculiar beast. 50 States each pick 'electors' who go to DC to actually elect the POTUS every 4 years. These 'electors' are in theory supposed to vote for the candidate that won their States popular vote BUT are free NOT TO, or may be given instructions otherwise by the Governor of their State. Face it the GOP wanted to keep Hillary out so they did by nullifying the Popular Vote and installed trump, who they deluded they could control.
GOP was wrong and could not control trump who retaliated by essentially destroying the GOP and morphing it into the 'party of trump' where loyal lackeys, mindless servile followers and ass-kisser toadies need only apply.
trump then merely followed and uses this guide below... works like charm!

Sure Z but how many times have electors deliberately voted against the candidate that the state's electorate voted in favor of? I'm not sure it's ever actually happened.
Also I believe there are a couple of states that do not require that electors unanimously vote for the candidate with the greatest number of popular votes within the state. I believe Nebraska is one of them.
I think the most moronic democrat party plot I have heard of relatively recently was the inane idea that states allocate their electors to whichever candidate wins the overall, national, popular vote. This in effect acts to nullify the votes of the citizens of the state itself which seems counterintuitive, no?

That was my original question Willie, you read this correctly.
I'm sure Z knows all about the presidential election of 1876 but for anyone who doesn't and who would like to familiarize him or herself with a genuinely fucked up election process, I suggest at least a quick bit of research on that one.
Maybe the country was all bent out of shape over the centennial celebration in Philthadelphia getting fucked up when the country found out about the Little Bighorn debacle. Probably not.
