And people have died in the hijackings ... so again ... why restrict the scenario to crashing them .... we have had aircraft that have crashed and/or disappeared during apparent hijackings.

As for airline safety ... my point is, and was, there have been a lot of chatter and bullshit, but the pansies in this country don't want to wait in long lines and/or have their shit looked at and xrayed. If you (or anyone else) believe their checked bags aren't inspected ... then you believe in the tooth fairy.
The juveniles in this country are responsible for the mass shootings ... because they don't want their "freedom" to "move about the country" impinged upon and their personal belongings electronically and/or personally inspected before they enter malls, schools, and office buildings .... like almost all government buildings these days.
They'd rather have their bodies examined at an autopsy!
