You are adept at rattling off 1980’s era talking points about smaller government and such. You would have to go back quite a few republican presidents to find an example of one who actually reduced the size of the federal government. And you do realize that 50% of the 2020 federal budget is financed by borrowing don’t you? Tax cuts without spending cuts is nuts. But, not when more borrowing is available to the Republicans I guess. We’re not quite Greece yet but we’re approaching it.
I’d post the charts but I don’t know how and the research group might not appreciate it either.

I am no fan of today's "republican" party as it currently stands. Unfortunately, we have a two party system and its gotten to the point of choosing between the lesser of two evils.
On government spending, I am closer aligned to Rand Paul's thinking. Cuts need to happen and with tax cuts, additional cuts need to happen. Our current course will take us to Greece over a period of time but the democrats plan will take us to communism/Greece much quicker.
Yes, I am quite aware of the budget figure you speak of and your statement is accurate.
Personally, I think our fate is inevitable without congressional term limits and balanced budget amendments. While I am not a big fan of republicans, the positions of the democrats are antithetical to all of my beliefs, thus I can not support them.

One only has to open a history book to see that it was much worse. Witness the beating on the floor of the Senate in the years preceding the ACW.
Democrats have been the party of slander since Lincoln... some things won't change.

Are you kidding. Why Financial genius's on this very board have claimed that this is the new normal. We can spend as much debt as we like with never a negative side affect.

Which you know will never happen.

Yeah, the republicans are pussies. But they look like Juggernaut in comparison to the Dems. The way the Democrats have embraced the Crazies like AOC, Omar, and socialism in general have moved them from the loyal opposition column into the straight up enemy of the Constitution column.

Of course we all know term limits will never happen along with a balanced budget amendment. Its what we need though.
Yes, the republicans are pussies and the reasons you state here are only the tip of the iceberg on why I could never support the democratic party.

You jumbled what I posted. The person Wearing the mask may get a lighter load. Nothing to do with the vector. Of course that is one factor, there are many more that help define what kind of reaction one might get.

You're actually wrong there, Chung. There have been NO empirical studies that show that using a mask reduces risk or impact if infected. None.
I mean we all assume it helps. but there's no evidence of the same. Hence the CDC & WHO going back and forth on the subject... same with the indoors and outdoors mask debate.
NONE of what the govt. has imposed on us has empirical backing.

The only reason that they matter is that Trump doesn’t want to leave office whether he wins or loses the election because he exposes himself to the real world. But, if he loses, SDNY is sitting there with serious charges once Trump is out of office and they have had 4yrs to prepare the evidence. Biden won’t pardon him. Trump, through Fox News and OANN has spent the last 4yrs prepping the base to believe that he has been railroaded by the left when the charges hit. So, it’s important to him to assemble groups like this, who are willing to die or go to prison for the guy. The hope being that, like Nixon then Bush/Gore, the leaders at the time make another ‘for the good of the country’ decision and go easy on him.

Lol, we had a hornbag dumbass on a whoreboard laying it out step-by-step on October 1st. Yet, now the R’s primary talking points are ‘who would have ever known?’ and ‘Trump changed after the election’

No riot from left or right.... just bunch of idiots with their leader, who now are categorized as anti-America or domestic terrorists.

I think it's gonna workout pretty well, especially after we see his tax returns...and we will.

Pretty, pretty, pretty good. Better than farmers almanac and almost as though I lived this date before. Seriously, 100% accuracy and on schedule. The next prediction is that my brake specialist from Sears auto will forced to give up his guns because he was was put on the terrorist watch list... strange but true

I'd be surprised if he does. Hell, I'd be surprised if he ever goes to court.

What happened, did he order Brake Pads from Venezuela?
Tell us more. If he volunteered that information, there has to be something interesting to share.

Lol, I was unclear. I was referring to an obscure comment that I made months ago about the MAGA people going back to their jobs. So, I’m sure no one else understood either. But, after the treason event, the MAGA’s who participated can look forward to being on terrorist lists and be placed on no-fly lists. I’ve seen a few videos so far of the MAGA tough guys crying about how they are being mistreated after their tantrum.
