Weapon Finesse was overrated, imo. Just crank the shit out of Str and get both +Attack and +Damage.

What...and be just another Drizzt fanboi? No thanks. My ranger would trigger Multishot, and once that wore off, he'd switch to dual wield rapiers, one paralyzing and one cursespewing, and jump into the fray until Multishot was ready again. Managing agro was always fun.
When STR is a dump stat, weapon finesse works perfectly...

I assume you're talking about DDO?
Never played it, but I'm guessing they did more balancing of the stats, ie Dex also adding to damage?

The majority of my D&D experience was 3.0/3.5 with some AD&D 2nd Edition in my elementary / middle school / high school years and some 4.0 later on.
I was never a huge fan of rogue/swashbuckler types in 2/3.0/3.5 due to having to have both dex and str to be effective, but in 4.0 it seems that they made them much more viable when they standardized all the classes.
Btw, if any of you liked 3.0/3.5, Pathfinder is a lot of fun. The changes they made were really good and makes the game a lot more fun. Also, you no longer need to constantly multiclass/prestige class to be competitive anymore - the base classes are now upgraded to be playable the entire 20 levels.

So one thing I've been watching on NetFlix is the recent TEDTalks episodes they've recently added to the streaming content.
For those who aren't familiar with TED, it's a series of conferences where the guests are speakers who talk briefly (usually about 10 min or so) on pretty much any sort of creative topic you can think of.
I just watched this one which just really blew my mind - the sheer scope and raw potential of this one was just really amazing.
The speaker is Luis von Ahn, who is one of the creators of Captcha (you know, the human verification software we see all over the internet these days):

Sorry, I got sucked into the time-vortex. I didn't even get a chance to grab my towel. Fortunately I am back, but you know the TARDIS always misses by at least a few hours... We're lucky I'm not several years late!

I was good with the series until you forced me to read Side Jobs instead of reading Ghost Story like I wanted to.
