Venting a bit

Again I am disappointed at the last minute by a provider's inability or unwillingness to keep a scheduled appointment. The latest episode followed an initial email two days ago requesting an appointment, a return email yesterday saying the time was fine, we'd have a great time, etc.

I followed up with my cell number and a request for a call if anything developed. Sent her a PM this morning confirming that I would be there at the appointed time. Then today one hour before the appointment i called and it was a no go. Now I understand that this happens sometimes, but two weeks ago I showed up at the appointed time at a different provider's location only to discover she "hadn't been feeling well" and thought TWO Vicodin washed down by a glass or two of wine was the solution. I turned down the offered service as she had no idea what she was doing or saying. In this case I had juggled my work schedule and actually took some unpaid time off.

Other times it is unanswered phone calls, not returned PMs or email.

I have references. I have caused absolutely no trouble, am polite, respectful and clean. What gives?

What really burns me up is in the two cases mentioned I consumed ED medication given to me by my doctor as samples since of course insurance won't pay and the stuff is so expensive.

On top of that I am facing potential impotence as a result of surgery so need to sow my oats now. As I have time and work restraints I prefer to stay in the general Arlington area.

This celibacy stuff sucks!

Sorry to hear this.

First, it's likely not personal. I don't keep records, but batting average of ,500 - .700

Second we all need ro man up and name names and not keep enabling the bad behaviors.

Have you posted a thread, not a review in the correct forum? I understand your frustration but the best thing to do is document what happend in the review forum as a thread so we know who it is and what happened
