Personaly, I've never liked the word "blowjob". You're not blowing on it, it's sucking. Suck-job doesn't sound good. I like the word fellatio. IT's smooth and pretty, and rolls off the tongue, like good fellatio should.

I'm with you Kelly in that "doggie" or "doggie style" seems somewhat Jr High.

Someone else already said it but "how bout I get behind you" or "how bout I check out the view from behind" doesn't cause too much emotional pain.

The term "canine" is also less troublesome than "doggie" for me too.

Personally, until I started hobbying, I hadn't ever really discussed activities with the SO. Every once in a while activities happened but any discussion was off limits.

Since getting into the hobby though, I've discovered the excitement of talking about it. Very cool when done right. But, again, I'm with you, using the term "doggie" isn't a sign of it being done right - for me anyway.

Reading all these posts, it's apparent that we have some really goofy terminology for our sexual practices. It reminds me of the joke where the man says " honey, every time you're going to orgasm you scream ' I'm going, I'm going' and it just ruins it for me. Can you try to be a little more refined?"
