I have an EVO and have never tried to actually do that. It also costs about $29 a month. Or so. I've wondered how well the "hotspot" would work using my phone. Guess one day that I need to find out!

I have an unlimited plan on my Samsung i910, which runs Windows Mobile. Just about the first thing I did when I got it was to hack internet sharing into it, and let a select few of my co-workers in on the network. Second thing was to turn the cam into a webcam -- A would tune in from the house and "supervize" me at work -- I'd make faces at her while I did my thing on the work phone.
