Like Houston with the Texans (right now), there isn't a lot of love in Nashville for the Titans.
Here's what the local Nashville newspaper has to say.

So awesome. I kept rewinding over and over on my DVR. Punk got what was coming to him. I was pissed I couldn't watch the vik's whoop some 'skins ass but that made it worth it. And what made it even better is the eagles lost to the bears later on. Only thing that would've made it sweeter is the Giants lose and the Cowboys would've gone for the fourth and 10, instead of a f#*%ing 59 yard FG! But still a pretty sweet beat-down.

That fight makes me think of when Ventura charged Nolan Ryan and Ventura got his ass handed to him. I still have the paper from that.

"Courtland Innigan
Cuz Andre beat the F out of him"
Classic! 'Dre not only beat the F out of him on the field, he kicked his ass playing Innigan's own game!
I believe Fisher would gladly trade the services of Cortland Innigan for Andre. If it would have been earlier in the game it probably would have been a good trade on the Titans part. I hope it does not cost us Andre for an upcoming game but there are times when a man's gotta do, what a man's gotta do!
Way to go Andre, you da man!!!!!!

It's being reported that the league is not going to suspend 'Dre!
Still no confirmation from the NFL but multiple media outlets report he will only be fined.
I know it's probably illegal (NFL wise) but I would love to take up a collection and pay his fine.
The old saying "I'd pay to see that" doesn't even begin to describe how I feel about "the Beatdown".

I think the teams sometimes pay the fines or at least they used to back in the Buddy Ryan days.
It would have been so much better if 'Dre would've just stood there after he got his helmet off and bitch slapped the little punk.

Just heard that they both will be fined 25k but will not be suspended. The Texans will NEED Andre against Vick and the Eagles on Thursday.

Bud Adams is an idiot for insisting on drafting VY. If Jeff Fisher is canned, he'll be picked up in a week. VY will join JaMarcus and Ryan Leaf.

Damm I was at the game, needed to take a piss after having all that beer, game was sort of boring, as soon as I pulled it out to take a piss I can hear all the commotion over the loud speaker I missed the best part of the game Johnson beat that ass, I'm so glad he plays Thursday.
I know realisticlly the Texans can't win a wild card bit, but what do y'all think about winning the division , only a game out?
Let's go TEXANS!

At this point it appears that 9-7 could possibly win the division this year. If so, Houston would have to win 4 out of the next 5. In order to finish with 9 wins, the Texans would have to win at least one of the next two games against Philly and Baltimore. Even if they were to do so, in order for the team from the South to advance to the playoffs with a 9-7 record, it would probably be decided by the tie-breaker formula.

yeah ur right tex...and philly looks like the game they will lose....no way the D holds vick, jackson, maclin and mccoy to less than 28-35 points. but they gotta win out after that. and the rest of the games are against AFC teams anyway, not that the wildcard is in reach, just saying. makes me even more pissed about the jets and jags games, win one and ur tied 4 the division, win both and ur in 1st by urself

So that was YOU at the urinal next to me, hardnready. Thankfully, I didn't look to see if your handle constituted truth-in-advertising.
