Default Chiefs Have Two Kicks Blocked: Win Anyway

Well, so much for not being able to win on the road! That was one of the most impressive games the Chiefs have put together.

The Good

Matt Cassel--This was the best game I've seen from Cassel. He got the ball out on time, was accurate, and made some throws while moving (something I don't think I've ever seen him do).

Dwayne Bowe--Where has this guy been the last three years? He's turning into a Larry Fitzgerald type receiver lately. If he keeps it up he's going to be a very rich man next year.

Jamaal Charles--Hard to believe he lasted until the 3rd round. Another stellar performance.

The Bad

Special Teams--Having a blocked field goal and a blocked punt in the same game is unacceptable. Most of the time you lose when you give up a special teams TD.

The Ugly

Todd Haley's goatee. C'mon, man. You don't really want to look like the villain in a Bruce Willis movie, do you?

You do know that Bowe trained with Larry in off season!!! I was very happy with this game today!!!! I also liked how the back up CB's stepped in for flowers who is out with a bad ankle! These young guys played good on D today! The two blocks scared me but hey we won so im ok now!!! McCluster should be back soon and i cant wait to see what happens when he gets out there!!!!

Very impressive win, saw a lot of good things. I think you may see Daniels as a new starter at CB soon. I may be proved wrong about where there finish, I hope I am LOL. Very enjoyable game to watch. Next two weeks will make a huge impact on the season. If we beat both Denver and San Diego it puts us two game up on San Diego and 3 on Oakland and would require a collapse to miss the play offs.

San Diego looked impressive last night. I don't feel the Chiefs have it in them to beat them a second time.

You may very well be right especially in San Diego and now with Vince Jackson back, but beat Denver and the Raiders and pray SD loses to someone else.

Jackson is supposed to be out the next two weeks, possibly more, due to a calf strain. So it looks like the team will miss out on facing him again. Still San Diego at home will probably win. But, if the Chiefs beat everybody else left besides San Diego, they should win the division.

That's right o' yee of little faith. I'm not conceding the game in the city of a whales vagina but even so, still love our remaining schedule. I see at least 10-6 that means Bolts have to run the table to get to 11-5 and that means them winning 9 in a row....very difficult thing to do.
