Straight male escorts. Do you think these guys actually get appointments?

OK, before the flaming begins, I'm not planning a new career path at 49 years old. But, just for kicks I checked out the "male escorts" section of Backpage. Naturally, I wasn't surprised to see that at least 95 percent of the ads were geared toward the gay community. I can imagine some of those guys probably do make a few bucks. But, with regard to the straight guys, does anyone know anything about the industry for straight guys?
On one hand, I can see a market for it. As a straight male, I have no problem getting quality "civilian" dates, in addition to already having a fairly nice list of female friends with benefits. However, I don't flinch a bit at dropping a few hundred dollars on a woman that has a particular look, kink, or skill that I might be interested in on that particular day.
Having just said that I don't have any trouble finding "real world" dates, let's face it, even ugly gals can find a sexual partner quicker than the best looking males. Although, I wonder if there aren't a few successful women out there who enjoy the ease of hobbying just like the men?
Anyone know of any women who participate in the hobby? Do you really think Houston has a market for this? Or, for the most part, are these guys just full of themselves, and have just wasted a few bucks on a BP ad?

I am sure it happens. There are several bars around town that specialize in "cougar pickup spots". Discretion is key with women that hobby in that way.

BUT I suspect you would have to be pretty educated, and knowledgeable in the Arts, and I would not suspect you would get much Biz from Ads in BP!

Most straight guys cannot phathom women paying for "d--K" the way we are willing to pay for "pu--y". Most women that would be so physically unappealing so as to have to pay men would have a hard time finding a man who could even get it up for her. I may have to part ways with you on that supposition. You could be an unhappily married woman that doesn't need any of the drama involved with exploring an affair. Or, perhaps a single or married professional woman, out of town on business. What married male hasn't found themselves away on business, and at least thought about seeing a provider? Or perhaps her husband is just a crappy lover? The hottest woman I ever dated was married to the same man for 14 years. This gal turned heads everywhere she went. In 14 years her husband only treated her to oral 3 or 4 times! Never forget, guys aren't the only one's not always getting what they want at home.
