V-day in Memphis

I see Memphis isn't ignoring veteran's day Thursday. There's a makeshift parade downtown. I'm glad the holiday merits more than just honorable mention around these parts. Is there anything else going on? Personally, I was kind of hoping to indulge in a more carnal revelry.

I have no doubt such recreation can be arranged, but it won't be part of the official celebrations.
