I always feel better after listening to some rock from the 80's:
Foreigner
REO Speedwagon
Journey
Styx
Loverboy
Stray Cats
Pat Benatar
Joan Jett & The Blackhearts
I dare you to not feel better after listening to "Eye Of The Tiger" by Survivor.

Depnds on my mood but I am with both of Fawn and SKF in general.
However, if my modd is is particularlity black then smooth jazz doesn't get it for me. I will listen to things like Steppenwolf, Pink Floyd, Eric Bergan, Doors, Rolling Stones Jimmy Hendricks and AC/DC. Once that works I might switch to the Mamas and the Papas, Santana, Carly Simon or something from the PCD.
If I am not that dark but just need to unwind then Ottmar Liebert, Smooth Jazz(Earl Klug, Mindi Abair, Boney James, Dave Koz, George Benson), Nora Jones, Nina Simone, Basia or Classical like Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Chopin or Beethoven.
For a change up I will switch to old style Country like Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and Crystal Gayle or Blues from BB King, Muddy Waters, Billie Holoday or Stevie Ray Vaughn.
I know, I am weird at times.

I'd like to dedicate this song to the uber-sexy, super-hot, and ridiculously funny,
Nicole Preston.
('cuz I know that she'll appreciate it )
Enjoy, hun!
