Wink Looking for a pumpkin patch

If anyone knows where one is I'd be much obliged. I don't mind driving an hour or so away to get to one either. Please pm me.

Thank you
Paven~

Do you want to buy a "pick your own" pumpkin, take pictures, make love in a pumpkin patch, give your wish list to the Great Pumpkin, or what?

1) I'm curious and
B) the answer might vary depending on what you're after.

Picking my own pumpkins off the vine for sure, taking pictures for sure, and possibly giving my wish list to the Great Pumpkin. That is only if I get the heads up from Linus that he'll really show up this year . I don't want to miss a whole night of tricks and treats for nothing! I don't want to go all Sally Brown on anyone!

Evergreen Farms Pumpkin Patch in Elgin. It is actually a Christmas tree farm but they have a pumpkin patch as well. I was just out there yesterday. Call out there before you go.

From the info I've gathered, they don't let you pick the pumpkins yourself anymore due to vines getting trampled. Which is too bad, guess times are a changing.

Some of these are a little ways away, but it seems like at least at one time they did pick-in-the-field pumpkins. May want to give a call and see if they still do:

The Jersey Barnyard
La Grange, TX

Sweet Berry Farm
Lexington, TX

Star Farmers Market
Rockdale, TX

Epps Family Planters
Calvert, TX

Thank you Shmafty, I had all of those links except for Sweet Berry Farm. They don't have a phone number though. The others don't have pick yourself pumpkins. Grrr.

I was just out at the "Evergreen Farms Pumpkin Patch in Elgin" this past weekend and it wasn't all that in my opinion. To be honest, I was actually quite disappointed. The one in Marble Falls look much more inviting.
