Lost my temper and got points

So I got some points. I was out of line. What does it mean, do they go away, and how many will I need to get banned? If banned, how long?

I do not anticipate anymore points. I am just curious. I like this site and do not want to be a problem. I want to go back to a zero balance.

looks like your points expire in march of next year. believe you have to get 25 to be banned on points so unless you're intent on being a habitual felon I wouldn't worry about it. party on garth. i got points once on the old board once. sometimes it's worth it -rak

Where do we see how many points we have?

You can click on User CP and it'll show you. Odds are if you've got them, you'd know it already.
