Hope for the best, expect the worst. If you give it to her and she pays it back then your hope in humanity is retored, and you might end up with a decent relationship. If she does'nt then it only costs you $500 to find out who you were diggin' on was'nt for you and move on. Or.... the next time she borrows money she REALLY rips you a new one...... (did I say that out loud?)

What about those rims I bought you? I had to work for a week and 2 days to make that money and you have yet to pay me back a penny.
Remember you promised when you got your income tax in 2007 you'd pay me? Suddenly you needed a paint job and a set of flow masters.
Then 2008 came around and you needed new interior and a wood grain dash kit.
Then in 2009 you needed a few TV's, a stereo system and some neon’s.
And so far this year you're claiming you have not yet received your tax refund.
It's okay ... I have faith this will be the year I get back my 3k.

Let's turn it around.
Go tell your ATF that you have all these problems and need to borrow some money from her to get by.
Now what kinda of answer do you think she's going to give you.
Brook since you're into giving how about a session Friday and I'll pay you back later when I get better financially.
I had a provider tell me never to loan a provider anything because you won't see it back.
Why is it any time you say you like a provider it's let me use him time.
I p4p and keep my distance and keep my feelings to myself when dealing with provider's.
It's safer that way.

Looks like this lady is quite selfish. You are only setting your self up to look like a sucker by giving her the money. You may or may not hear from her after that. Or get a bunch of lies and cover up stories from her. But its your call buddy.

I agree, is she incapable of work right now? Based on your comments you said she is an emotional wreck? Well whatever you decide, remember that if you "loan" money you may not get it back.

These are my thoughts as well. She can raise this money in two hours. if not from others then certainly from you by providing two session so why does she have to put up a sob story to you. Just thinck (oh my god I am spelling it like the funcking prophet)

I have spoken to her and she is legitimately messed up emotionally.
She needs a little $$ . $500. And is reaching out to me for help.
I play a lot of poker, so $500 is just money I win from
Someone anyway.
Just looking for some feedback, especially if you have ever loaned money to
a provider. Okay, I do agree that it has to be considered a gift. Maybe
I get it back, maybe not. I can live with that.
What are your thoughts.

You've answered your own question hun.
If you want to help her, and it's your money, and you are ok with possibly never getting it back, then who gives a flying flip what anyone else thinks?
A very wonderful regular of mine once helped me when I was in a bad sitch. He gave me some money and I offered him a session in return....he kept coming to see me after that and would never not leave the fee, what a sweet heart
Anyways, it is your life and your money, do what you want with it and just hope that she realizes what a lucky girl she is to have someone like you in her life (I know I would).

It sounds like you have the money to play with. Loaning money to a provide is like playing poker. The odds are against you getting the money back.

I'm willing to bet that the number of free sessions given out by providers compare horribly unfavorable to number of loans/gifts given out by hobbyists.
At first I was thinking, give her the money. But fuck it. She's a provider, so let her work for it. I love ya ladies, but hell, this type of interaction between hobbyists and providers go on way too much, and is grossly one sided. Seems like somehow it's acceptable (in the minds of some providers) to never pay back (in any way) for money given to them, and when a guy does pursue it, before he gets it back he becomes a stalker, creep, or pest of some sort.
At the same time it's your money. Do as you please, but no 'woe is me' stories later on if you give it to her and she magically forgets who you are afterwards.

WTF you talking about?? You STILL owe me more...you haven't paid my percentage of me ALLOWING myself to "represent" you. Don't come crawling back to me begging me to "manage" you if you're gonna start bitching about my consulting fee. One more thing to add to all the things you mentioned...my low-rider lift kit!! Fine rides for this Mexican would seal the deal!!
