Men vs. Women: The great toilet seat debate

i personally believe that it is both sexes responsibility to adjust the toilet seat to his/her own physical needs. However i believe that the girls that believe that a man should lower the toilet seat are merely looking for a sign of a "gentleman" more than anything. This can be realted much to like girls that expect men to open doors for them. Do most guys do it? yes. It is a test of character and it helps you score points. Now it is not neccessary, but women are looking for " prince charming" they want " Mr. Perfect" and they believe that their boyfriends should put the toilet seat down for them.

This has just been added to my "to do" list.

At every opportunity I will sneak in the ladies public restroom and put all of the seats up.

My SO bitched about this many years ago. I started leaving it down and splashing the seat. She bitched about the splashing and I returned to leaving the seat up..............she has never brought it up again.

The real question is why are there no urinals in residential bathrooms? I suspect it's because nobody really wants to change out the little rubber mats.

I always put the seat and the lid down. That way whoever is using it next for whatever reason has to raise something. It's only fair, right?

Exactly! You beat me to it...the obvious solution. Just close the whole damn rig when you've finished your business. The funny part is the toilet-seat feminists just get even more pissed off when you do this "to them".
