I have been thinking a bit about sexual scandal. The kind that gets publicity. I don't care about Sports Stars but I wonder about elected officials. Forget the Church too.

So is it possible to make a reasonable judgement on which of these people is the MOST SCANDALOUS in his behavior.

1. John Edwards and his love child.
2. Elliott Spitzer and his cavorting with Escorts.
3. Mark Sanford and his soul mate in Argentina.
4.Larry Craig reaching for some dropped toilet paper in Minneapolis.
5. John Ensign being blackmailed by the husband of his staff lover.
6.Sen Vitter of LA who got caught with Escorts, promised to stop and got caught again.
7. Rep Mark Foley picking on young Congressional page boys.
8. Forgot name of Ind Representative that just resigned over affairs.


I am leaving out Clinton and Gingrich because their cavorting was over 10 years ago.

Any thoughts?

You need to add New Jersey governor Jim McGreevy who hired his gay, Israeli lover to run homeland security and disburse millions of dollars. This was not 10 years ago and, yes, I just got out of class at KU and now I go to work.

I think Barney Frank's gay lover ran an escort service out of his house....but that's probably over 10 years old.

The Edwards one had a certain level of sleaze to it.

National Enquiror photos of him sneaking into a hotel.

The betrayed wife at home with cancer.

The illegal use of campaign funds to pay off his lover.

Using an aid as the fall guy...having him say it was his baby.

Of the recent ones, I'll vote for it....

but its hard to beat doing a DNA test on a baby gravy stain like they did to Bubba Clinton!

No. That makes John Ensign sound like a passive victim. He didn't passively fuck his employee, Cynthia Hampton. Her husband Douglas Hampton also worked for Ensign. He sure didn't passively pay him hush money. Ensign was actively being a total bastard and he got caught. There may have been some extortion on Douglas Hampton's end, but so far he hasn't been charged or convicted of anything.

Long story short, Ensign rolled out the "I'm being blackmailed!" story and then walked it back after a few days.

BONUS: Check out how Ensign used his PARENTS to pay the Hampton KIDS in an attempt to hide the money. Sleeeeazy!
