someone suggested that bp build a small concrete dome to put over the riser and pipel it with concrete. BP says it'd be too heavy to implement or words to that effect.

BP, concrete floats you know!!!!

I get what this guy was thinkin about, it'd be something similar to the North Sea oil rig who's legs are made of concrete and used suction to drain the water and air out of the legs which are hollow.
