My hobby budget comes out of my lunch m,oney . . .really. My upper limit is about 300/hr. Maybe more than one hour, but 5 bucks a minute is about it as a rate. I expect the multi-hour ssession to bring a discount.

This is a market driven hobby. Location, location, location matters. $300 in one location may be way too high given the availability of plentifully reviewed providers who offer a full menu at a lower rate. On the flip side, another location may be bereft of quality providers for under 300 which might only get your toe in the door. As always, research is your best friend. I would never set a hard limit on what you are willing to pay. Instead, I would come up with a range say something like 250-400. Factor in the obvious-- looks, menu, reviews, how much time you get, etc. If the girl you want to see is "bucket list" material but her rate is 400, by all means see her. It is only 100 more than your price point, but the experience may well be worth it. Justify it by letting your hobby account rest for a few extra weeks before playing again.

Well Nicolet you have not missed much in Kansas lol. If my travels doing living history and period cooking Civil War style brings me that far south I might have to look you up.
