My point here, is that just because a man doesn't "work" in the traditional sense, and his partner is an escort, doesn't mean he's *anything* like a pimp. My money is shared; but not given to a man who owns me. It's instead spent like a budget in any other "normal" household. We discuss big purchases, I do my best not to spend frivolously, I pay bills, go on outings and trips, and we spoil the hell out of the kids, keeping them well educated, furnished with all the latest gadgets, and enrolled in various extracurricular activities and sports... The thread may be new but the contents are old. That group and topic has been been well known and discussed in the passed at great length. In fact there are some hands in the picnic basket that need to be washed.

This area is much more infested with pimps and streetwalkers posing as escorts. In my opinion it has ruined Memphis and as Amber states is terrible. When the area has people promoting bare back anal Activities for their friends and fellow members, then it's time to really pay attention. Some of those that partake of that crowd also partake of the true escorts. With that type of intermingling then the risk has gone to a level that is unacceptable.

And Sono, you are so right. Here is the thing clients don't reconize/take into account.
Screening is a multi-purpose tool. Does it take me 24 hours to screen you? Nah. But it might take me that long to screen your refs - and her clients. Client gives me 2 refs: both have been in biz for x amount of time, both have reviews, p411, DC, both have svcs & pricepoints inline with mine etc. Both are legit right? Then I look at reviews. Somebody A is last review for Ref 1. He has 40 reviews. In half there is a behavior thats creepy to me. Those girls got great reviews from him. The other half dont have the behavior, and the reviewer bashed them - outright or just asshole. Look at what boards he's on. Look at his posts. That one client will negate that one ref.

Same could be true for the other ref. Now I have a well documented history for this client based on a couple of hours of following URL links. This guy could be blatant, borderline, sleazy, passive aggressive or incognito in his "picks". He's got 40+ OK's on p411 & DC, reviews across the major boards, be a well respected dawg......and I wont even reply to his appt request.

Part of screening is following the trail. Looking at who did how, what they did. This is not just pimped - it's indy as well. If a provider has spent 6 months screening - she should be able to look at an ad, look at a website, just look and know.

Bottom line, the low end segment of escorting has gotten much lower and broader while the high end has gotten much higher. Low end clients will never make the jump and it's a gazillion times harder for low end providers to make the jump.Think of it as Romney's 47%.
