If there is a point to this thread - and it by no means clear there is - I fail to see how this election is different than any other election.

This "news" article isn't actually news. They could just as easily have written an article that the sun would be rising in the east for the remainder of the year.

It is never the case that all - or even the great majority - of the voters for a particular candidate pull the lever because they are excited about that candidate. Quite often people vote for a candidate because he or she is the lesser of two evils.

In 2008, a whole lot of bitter, angry Hillary supporters who thought Obama "usurped" Hillary's Presidency rather than wait his "turn", nonetheless pulled the lever for Obama because they were scared of the Big, Bad Bully named McCain.

So, why you are "ROTFLMAO" is beyond me.

Now that you mention it, TTH, Pelosi is a lot like the Big Bad Wolf in The Three Little Pigs: she’s horribly ugly, and she huffed, and she puffed, and she brought down the House (in esteem). But just like in the fairy tale, in the end, she was stewed in her own juices and is no longer a threat.
