Sorta Kinda Retirement Visit

What do you call a visit that may or may not be your last Hurrah? I do this on the side and with work its become work itself--that I enjoy, but thats not the issue. Ive managed to re-injure my rotator cuff from a previous accident a few years ago. Im a clutz and crashed a bicycle at 30mph--ate the pavement literally. So I attempted to get back into Crossfit about 3 weeks ago, and since Im stubborn, well SNAP! The pain is tolerable but I need to slow down, take time to heal, and possibly have surgery. I dont want to do the retirement announcement thing, since I might come back. But it might be a while especially if I opt for surgery. Ive had a bunch worried they wont get to experience my new massage method, and I never want to disappoint anyone(its a flaw) so I am thinking about doing a "hit it and quit it" tour this week. Is that fair to guys who would like it as a regular deal? I was thinking they wouldnt see me if they knew its the first and last time.

The reason I ask is because Shreveport is on the list, for tomorrow and Weds. I have RW work there and hoping Im feeling up to playing a lil bit while there. Should I leave it as is or be honest and tell them it might be the last time? I prefer not to keep anyone on a string.

Two or three retirement tours are expected. The first one is a mulligan for sure. Nothing to worry about.

And wow I put an ad out on BP in this area, usually I get pretty cool guys. So far Im being hit up by thugs and totally ghetto white boys. The latest offer I had to make me lmao was 60bucks for 20 mins, haha. Then when I rejected that, he asked how much for half hour. I replied 400--I charge more for idiots!! Really?

The 3 times Ive done this in this city I have made bank. Im starting to wonder if the influx of pimps and lower end providers is bringing them out of the woodwork. Its not a need for me so Im probably going to pass. Sux too, I was wanting to have some fun

IMO, BP in this particular area is unsafe.

Just for some info, an intense up and down motion with your hand [on the bad shoulder side] will further stress the R/Cuff unless you support your arm at the elbow to limit the upper arm motion. Retirement should not be necessary but icing the shoulder will help.

No Beez your not the idiot, and I would love for you to brush my hair. I actually am into that kinda thing. Maybe you will be the one I pick to pamper me, so far Im digging ya.
As for the real idiot, he sent back a message that said "gth" which I am guessing means " got the hint" and being it wasnt a hint and I outright told him he was an idiot, well that just proves how big of an idiot he is.

And turbo thanks for the advice, Ive been able to do what you suggested. Its when I forget, yes forget, that I over extend it or do too much. I do know that heat makes it worse and ice is the way to go.

Ive just heard horror stories after surgery and that it is a long recovery. Im even changing jobs so I will not have to travel anymore. If all goes well, I may get active again. I just do not want to be one of those people who retires and a week later they are back when the boyfriend dumps them lol. This is truly not the case.
