Super Intelligent
Gary Kasparov is a super intelligent man.
In his book about how Life Imitates Chess, he mentions that while he knows the dangers, he is going to make a run into politics because he understands how corrupt Russia is under Putin.
. . . Putin would never agree to a match with Kasparov because he knows how badly he would lose, but then he can always depend on his army of thugs to silence the opposition.

Obviously not, most likely even at Knight odds.
But it would be a fun thing to see!
(I think that's a good book, by the way.)

Makes me fearful, very much so, of what could happen here with a ever more disregard of the constitution and a ever more liberal government

I think I figured out why FastGoon is upset. Putin put those girls away for two years, and had a trial. Obama could put them away indefinitely, and wouldn't need a trial. No wonder FastGoon thinks there is something wrong in Russia. Justice takes too long there.

Calm down, guys. Remember what happened to Dixie Chicks when they spoke against Bush. And then look in the mirror.

Had nothing to do with bush, country fans didn't like their attitude of trying to look good ass licking to the beautiful people

Oh yea, I forgot. Bush had them locked up. No wait, he didn't. Nothing much happened at all, except that some conservatives stopped buying their records. So, what is your point?
PS

What I want to know is why is Fastgoon so up in arms about what happened in Russia. They have their laws and we have our laws. Pussy Riot should have either paid off the putinites or got a better lawyer.

Board Idiot
I think you have already firmly established that you are the board idiot, but you don't have to keep reminding us.
Russia does not have laws, they have a dictator named Putin who decides what is acceptable and what is not.
Frankly, that sort of behavior troubles me because it can have grave consequences when left unchecked as it appears to be now.
. . . However, I imagine that if you had been in Europe during the Nazi Germany regimen, you would probably been right there with Neville Chamberlain kissing Hitler's ass too.

LOL! WDF supporting Gary Johnson. Listen, Johnson stands for freedom, the very thing you consistently oppose on here. I don't think you'd like him. Any more than you liked Ron Paul.
