After you make a post, you have up to 1 hour to edit/make changes to it.
As far as adding pics to a post, you have a certain amount of space to "attach" pics by using the little paperclip icon above where you are typing when making a new post.
The other way is to host them on another site such as imagecoast then insert them into your post.

you need to become a verified provider. As a registered member, all you are allowed to do is post one welcome post in welcomes and introductions. You can go back to your original introduction thread and reply to it and add a photo if you want, but you cannot advertise or create a showcase until you have verified provider status.
As a registered member you are also allowed to participate in discussions in the various forums such as coed discussion, sandbox and alerts, but you are not allowed to advertise
